Alright, I can finally unveil the next part of the series! And I'm very excited for it! Pictures will now be uploaded daily instead of every two days owo"
This is the most recent commission for the series and something I had to improvise on a short notice for a commission because I wanted some more context.
After having done his training for a while, he is not satisfied with the level of improvement he is getting, which leads to quite the sour mood, something Placira is not really understanding to.
I hope you continue to enjoy the series! owo
Chapter 3:
Some time has passed from when Incendramon was taken as a knave, and he had started a vigorous trainin. After getting the basics of magic usage down he started working both on his physical strength and his usage of magic. Despite starting to see some results, they were far from what he had aspired to achieve. Remembering a burning feeling he felt in the past... on that one fateful day when his life changed for the worse... that fire wouldn't come back, leading him to become frustrated... upset even, showing also quite the temper when it wouldn't work. Alas, those things were quite natural, after all, none were ever born a master. And despite managing to destroy a training dummy's head, the display of power was as of yet, insufficient to him.
This has been going on for a while, too, and he always tried to fulfill or exceed his masters expectations for him, yet he always fell somewhat short, as frustration was building inside him. This also made him difficult to be around. Unable to gauge the other person living there, he often didn't respond to her attempts to talk to him, which were infrequent and usually left him confused or irritated. This distraction from training had persisted for some time, and he wanted to tune her out as much as possible. He had a task and a purpose he needed to fulfill. And the only thing he needed to do to achieve it was to become stronger, as strong as possible even.
From just past the edge of the training area, Placiramon had been watching the apprentice practice. There was something about him that she very much disliked. Something she didn't get along with. This temper and the hatred he carried in his heart. How could such a young person be already this jaded? There was no hint of an honest smile on him ever, accompanied by the clouded gloom of darkness behind his eyes.
Whatever the reason was, he would not make it to knighthood with such burdened thoughts and emotions. Finding him to be too focused on training, fighting and destruction. Usually she did not really care for others, but the problem here was that he was living with them, his constant presence and unpleasant demeanor increasingly bothered her.
Talking with her master even failed, as she wanted to convince him to drop the knave, as she saw no potential in him, but he had declined as of now, saying that everyone needed to overcome their burdens. He would need to learn, or fail.
Dissatisfied with this, she thought that maybe she had to take a more direct approach to solving this problem. As things stood, she didn't want to be stuck with someone like him for years to come until his apprenticeship eventually came to an end, for better or, more likely, for worse.
