- The crest atop their head is called a casque, and they can be so unique that individual cassowaries can be identified by their casque
- Cassowaries are part of the Rattite family, which puts it at the dinner table with ostriches, emus, and kiwis
- They are shy in the wold, but have been known to attack people if they feel threatened or if a male thinks his chicks are in danger
- They"re flightless as they are too heavy to do so. They do have wings but they are very small (and I thought it would look weird if I didn"t draw them in lmao)
