The red gobbo looked into the eye of terror for a little too long o.o
The woman screamed as the creature slowly returned back to the Chimney, her husband, still in it's jaws, as it's throat let out, a gurgling "H-h-ooo ho-o H-o-o..."
Thanks to a video by Benn Jordan, I learned recently that many animals experience time at different rates than humans. Flies, for example, experience reality at a minute fraction that we do; it's why trying to swat a fly ends in failure and slowly grabbing it works. I think what I'm saying is, the vibe I'm getting from this is... Objects in rear are faster than they appear- and so are you! If you can see it coming, you can prepare for it, you can overcome. My interpretation may be super off, but I'm going to take it for myself as well, going into the new year. Merry Christmas!
I really like your interpretation - i don't think it's far off, it's just different words put to it (but I am not good with writing, so i draw). In any case it's super interesting to read other peoples thoughts to an illustration. Sometimes it is very different to what the intention was, but it expands on the original concept and that is SO exciting!
Well, the color check is okay, but I doubt it's jolly smile will get the kids.
POV: The last thing you see before one gets eaten/consumed-killed/splattered by the red monster in the game CARRION.
