Yo what's good gang? I might start a small upload series in scraps of my weird off surplus items, nothing outrageous or spam. But let me know in the comments if it's shit or something neat, or if you have any other input!!
But today I'm showing off my great ass condition USAF cold weather M65 field jacket from 99 in M81 woodland pattern; it's patched with
773rd fighter wing and Air education & training command patch on the chest pockets, ranked E-6 technical sergeant, name/branch tapes, and i added the blank slip on boards the the shoulder loops.
If ANYONE has info on the 733rd fighter wing patch let me know, I can't find jack on it. i know the bird is similar to the thunderbird from the 45th infantry division out of Oklahoma, and confirmed by at least one person to be a western US unit. I was at a local jewelry store in my town, and funny enough they were in the same fighter wing not just the air force around the late 90's. But i otherwise can't find what base they are out of or anything, all the other fighter wing numbered units skip 733. Nor am i able to easily find the exact patch, i hate collecting usaf stuff for this reason. Impressions are almost impossible without major research, want to put an army uniform together from basically ww2- mid 90's? Easy as hell, usaf? Get a data entry job at that point
But what makes it wack in the most ironic way, is the dudes name was Deathrage. I was just on ebay and found this in my size, i had to have it because it borders on "Ghost recon advance warfighter" vibes. The rage of death? Death is rageful? You choose!
