As Glais was getting acclimated to life in the manor, one of the many things she needed to figure out was how exactly one went about getting food. She knew from the many social things shoved into her head how exactly people eat it, but the only way she knew how to procure it was through diving into frozen lakes and acquiring fish and other small game out in the frozen wild. After asking Bulda, she was told to ‘go find Clarisa, she’d be happy to make you something!’ And so, she went on a quest to find this ‘Clarisa’, going to the kitchen area before being given directions from one of the staff to go find her in the ‘manor greenhouse area’, as she was in the process of tending to some of the more exotic herbs and veggies.

She (after a couple of wrong turns) found her way to this greenhouse, seeing an incredibly fluffy and well kept arcanine going about the process of watering what looked to be flowers. She knew what exactly they were from the given mental understandings, but she’d never seen one before, and it drew her attention immediately as she walked in.

“H-Hi! Are you Clarisa?” She asked, the Arcanine turning to her with a beaming grin and smile.

“WHyy yess I am! What has you looking for me darlen?” She asked, Glais moving over to her, a smile crossing her beak as she felt pride for finally finding her! But then a rumble came through her stomach as she stated quickly.

“I-I’m rather hungry, and I was told it was told to ask you for how food is obtained?” She stated with a questioning look, Clarisa practically beaming as she heard the words. She then set down her watering can and cupped Glais’s hand in her large fluffy paws.

“OHh dear yes, you must be new here. I’m absolutely the one to get you fixed up something nice and delicious, come with me, come with me, we MUST fix that grumpy tummy of yours!” She beamed, tugging Glais along as she began pulling her away to do just that!

But as she did so, Glais tripped along the stone path and tumbled slightly into the garden, a few flowers getting trampled by her taloned feet as she meeped and quickly righted herself. That would have been the end of it, with her apologizing and the two continuing on their way, had these ‘special veggies’ not been very special indeed. The plants around them all suddenly erupted from the ground as Clarisa let out a quiet gasp.

“OHHh dear I got to excitteddddd and stopped being careful!” Clarisa meeped, as the plants grabbed the both of them rapidly, Glais unsure of what to do, not wanting to ruin these plants that this warm and nice individual seemed to care for, but she felt very vulnerable as the plants yanked her arms above her head and tried to pull her legs apart as she let out an exasperated,

“I- wha-?” this quickly continued on to, “But I- ah- ahaHAHAAHA whhattheffhhahhAAAH!?” as she burst into laughter as the fluffy tips of the flowers began to rapidly flick and press against her body. They pressed into her feathers, pushing against her skin and making her squeal and laugh as she kicked and jerked around, giggling, squawking and laughing as she shook and jerked desperately. Fluffy flowers pressed into her toes and pushed against her pits as she bucked and wiggled in ticklish mirth, doing her best to listen to Clarisa as the arcanine got yanked and pulled up into the tendrils embrace with her.

“Ohhaha gosh, you’ve angehehered them!” Clarisa exclaimed, Glais laughing out in response,

“FwahAHAHA?!? Whahahahat are they d-dhahaha-doing?!”

“Thehehey tickle prey to drain stah-stamina!!” Clarisa explained, giggles escaping her lips before finishing, “W-we’re gonna be here a whihhhihHeAAHle.” Clarisa then burst into giggling laughter herself, her giggles almost cutesy as she laughed and wiggled furiously in her bindings, but mostly just due to the tickling making her do so. She knew there was no harm to be had here, but they WOULD be like this for a good bit unless someone found them, and as the fluffy petals pressed against her paw pads she SQUEALED and laughed out a high pitched howl of laughter, before working up the ability to say.

“D’awww, well, I’llghHAHA have a nice meal for us whehehen we get back!”

“FAHEahookiiahahaahAAHHAAH!” Glais would say in response, before the pair would buck, wiggle, laugh and shake as the fluffy flowers continued to work them over. More and more pressing against their bodies making them scoff, laugh, buck and wail, tears even beginning to form in Glais’s eyes as the feeling began to overwhelm her. She’d never experienced tickling before, this was something knew, and it was hard to decide if the feeling was a good or bad one! It did drain her a lot though! Her body was getting fatigued especially with it already being hungry, as she laughed and began to whimper and beg slightly for it all to stop.

It would be at that point Shade would walk into the greenhouse, having kept an eye on her after her arrival to make sure she didn’t run into to many issues, and this certainly was one. He waved his hand to ‘calm’ the plants and remove the ‘we are being attacked’ chemical from them, having them go about setting the two girls down as they huffed and giggled next to one another.

“T-thanks Shade” Clarisa would huff out, Shade simply waving it off and chuckling.

“Anytime.” He’d say simply in response, before leaving and letting the two recuperate.

After such, Clarisa would make good on her promise and make Glais a hearty meal, which Glais would then fall in love with immediately. She’d never had anything cooked before, and so that combined with the flavors and incredible display of cooking prowess shown from Clarisa made Glais swoon almost immediately. It helped that Clarisa decided to stick around after making her food and keep her company, the two chatting back and forth, with mostly Clarisa filling the air and Glais answering questions like what her name was when asked. The two seemed to be a nice fit for one another however, Clarisa’s excitable energy and extroverted nature pushing through Glais’s tough walls of ice and melting her down until she couldn’t help but respond to her. And as she did, she found herself enjoying it. She liked the conversation, opening up to Clarisa. She liked the feeling she got from talking with her, a warmth that she hadn’t gotten even from her brief conversations with Bulda. It felt nice listening to someone with so much energy, and she couldn’t help but start smiling as she continued to eat and enjoy herself.

The two would continue to enjoy each other's company well after this meeting too, Clarisa taking Glais out on various ‘eating trips’, enjoying restaurants and talking about life, mostly Glais absorbing all of Clarisa’s words and imparting her own when it mattered. It helped Glais out a lot getting accustomed to this vastly different world, and Clarisa was more than happy to help teach her the customs, like using a knife, fork, and spoon, among many other things.

The two have been quite the pair since, and Glais has truly grown into her own since their meeting. She appreciates Clarisa a lot, and who knows. Maybe as time goes on, the pair will deepen that appreciation all the more.

Haza! A pairing I've had in my head for forever but has finally come to pass! ; v ; I got this image from  doctorbloxhams as the last patreon doodle I got from them. I dropped off their patreon cause they are kinda...eclectic. I like what they do but at least while I was on there, they don't communicate very well about things that might delay doodles, and yet they keep taking months of money half the time without pushing months back to get stuff done. Granted, they havvve also pushed back months without a charge a good number of time too, but it's always after like 2-3 ideas are handed to them THEN they seem to start working through them. That combined with them not posting any of these to their patreon or FA half the time and stopping posting them on their Discord makes it forever difficult to understand WHAT's making them take so long, and what ideas others have been getting, so it's all just felt kinda like a disorganized ship. That combined with me still not receiving one idea that seemed to get 'lost in the shuffle' at one point or another despite me rapidly bringing it up to them even after my tier dropped off had me heavily discouraged about continuing to support them, and it seems at least from an individual contacting me after I put this up that hey haven't exactly improved at least as of time of writing all this, so like, I'm happy for what I got but it's clear they really need to get their shit together xD.

But, as stated, happy for the stuff I got, and VERY happy for this ^^ Hope ya like it tooo! ; v;
