I got this piece to commemorate the beginning of my actual adult life. Moving to a far away land, excited and hopeful. A place to become someone that I wanted to be. Fierce and independent, faring an unfamiliar environment. In many ways it has treated me well, but it has been at times scary and lonely out here at the edge of civilization.
