After restoring the forest, the spirits reward San and Ashitaka with the ability to transform into animals they have affinity with.
You may remember the San wolf TF sketch from the beginning of the year: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50977251/
I particularly liked how it turned out so I was itching to expand upon it, but this time I decided to include Ashitaka in it because what could be more romantic than turning into an animal with your significant other?*
(it’s not confirmed if they actually end up together at the end of the movie, but that don’t stop me from dreaming).
This will likely be the last upload of the year.
Let’s see what next year will bring.

"It's alright, don't fight it" says the warrior girl, turning into the predator of what her mate is becoming.
In the movie, she refuses to believe that she's a human. Would she ever turn back?

I'm sure Ashitaka likes being human and would miss San's human form.
She wouldn't want to upset him now, would she?

Would she? She doesn't seem much like the appeasing type. She is a wolf. And an Alpha at that.
Really love it. You should've included some color changes of the curse in his fur! And add the white cape to her fur haha
Ooo I really like this one. I just really like the use of the characters. I think it's fitting enough so it's satisfying.
