Well, it had these two characters and I had not drawn them since then hahaha. I meant to draw these guys more often, and even make ref sheets for them, but got buried with other ideas. Back in April, I was suffering from artists block, so I decided to draw in my sketchbook without looking at any references, and my mind ended up thinking about these guys again, so I drew them, trying to remember what they look like.

Virgil Vole:

The first little dude is Virgil Vole. He is very loony-looking. Virgil likes to ask a lot of questions, even very obvious ones, while in school, which annoys both teachers and classmates. He is very fortunate that Forrester and Charles are tolerant of his talkativeness. Virgil always wants to try his best, which is why he asks so many meandering questions and he loves to let class time lag with them. Virgil is a skilled musician, like his friends, and often plays the bass and the triangle with Forrester and Charles on stage. He can also sing pretty well. If you are able to tolerate Virgil, he will be a great friend. As a freshman, he made a pact with Meg Squirrel that says if both of them have no date for a school dance, they will be each others. Little does Meg know that Virgil is in love with her and he keeps on turning down dates with other girls, just so he can go with her. Meg is not that into him. Virgil's classmates refer to him as a "rat" in a derogatory manner.

Charles Eggstrom

A toon red-shouldered hawk. He was originally a golden eagle, but I changed it to a hawk. His first name and species are based on my middle school's name and mascot, so I wanted to continue that theme lol. I thought about making him a red tailed hawk, but I already have a red tailed hawk OC.

Charles is the mellow friend to Forrester. He is very go-with-the-flow in attitude and an overall pleasant guy to be around. Usually, he acts as a foil to both Virgil and Forrester. Very tolerant of all types of people and does not hold grudges. Very difficult to get him annoyed or angry, probably why he is close friends with Virgil lol. He likes smooth jazz and has a warm, deep voice. Charles is a talented trumpet player and plays it with his friends. Charles' chill manner, however, makes it hard for his friends, and even himself, to know what he is actually feeling. He had just been told when he was young to just go with the flow. Has a warm friendship with Kat Cat.
