I watched the "Scavengers Reign" series (2023) and I am completely love itπ¦π₯
This is real as a great sci-fi animation mix of Miyazaki cartoons, "Made in Abyss" and a series of "Alien" (especially the first film). In general, everything I love haha
The best and beauty alien fauna and flora I've seen!π
But caution!18 many realy violent scenes especially with parasites~
Π‘reature from this drawing is quite silly in appearance, but it and its arch hit me the most!
It telepathically subjugates living beings to collect food (berries and fruits), but one of these creatures takes control of human and begins.. something. It needs to be seen

The design of this creature made me think of that giant baby monster from Resident Evil 8: Village in the first place. Definitely really weird. And i love it! XD

Looked it up on YT but don`t want to see any trailers because they spoiler too much mostly. But the art design on thumbnails reminds me instantly on Jean Henri Gaston Giraud, aka MOEBIUS! Love it!

Heeyy! I just finished "Scavengers Reign" and it was the best and most awesome series the year 2023 could present to me!!! Thank you SOOO much for making me aware of it!!!
It has vibes of Starbound (especially the music! <3) and Subnautica. Just a whole new planet to explore with all its quirks. I also got vibes of Risk of Rain from the design of some of the creatures and things like the escape pods. It also portrayed so damn real in terms of interpersonal relationships. There's no hero that can simply outdo the ruthlessness of the resident alien flora and fauna. The only thing that helps is adaptation. Questions arise such as "What if a human gets caught up in the cycle of a completely alien eco-network?" (which has also been realized extremely graphically through the clone scene!), but also the awareness of nature in order to live with the flow of it instead of against it or completely on our own is thematized here through images alone. Something that we have unfortunately lost in our world. It was also the first series that made me cry when bad things were done to an android! ^^Β° Lil Spoilie: I LUV LEVI~
Hard point to me was the black bean-spitting heart parasite (wich was extremely hard to watch till finish!!!) and those amphibious black-panther-like creatures! Want to draw them in the near future! :3
I also am fascinated to the cult seen at the end, wich been seen only in bandages. A season 2 would be soo cool!
