A dreamcore/weirdcore piece based on the various dreams I"ve had where I"m in the Digital World-- where I"m happy, never alone, learning and growing and changing, yet so far removed from everyone I know and love in the waking world... but in those dreams, in the memory of those dreams, my loved ones are so far last on my mind they may as well never be there at all.

Digimon has always been a favorite of mine, ever since I saw the first season of the anime air back somewhere between 1999 and 2000, and the Digital World, in a way, is my happy place. I never dreamed of it before a couple of years ago, now, but every time I"m able to see Guilmon waiting for me in any of his evolutionary states (usually Gigimon or Guilmon), I always wake up feeling like I had just come home from seeing a good friend of mine for the first time in years and had the best day ever with them.

Even while awake, I still sometimes wish I could go there, like really go there. Y"know?
