Original by Albert Uderzo, drawn for "the long way to Asterix".
Depicting René Goscinny and himself arguing over the script for Asterix and Cleopatra...
I'd like to use it as a template for the coverart for my book... but personalize it for the purpose...

My french is very bad ... but Goscinny is writing about the splendeur of ancient egypt and those big big battlescenes with millions of combatants with grandios decorations etc etc...
and uderzos is furious since he would have to paint it all for the comics...
but for the coverart, the speech bubble would be a bit different... I will try to redraw it (my artskills are terrible :P) with the chars already in place and the contends of the speechbubble edited... I will most like have it up around the weekend...

Am sure you'll do a good job.
And I understand, I suck at art as well.
