[Short Story] Ultra-Masseis: Replacement Moon! (Soon to be)
One day, a raccoon baker looked up into the night sky and wondered, "What does the moon taste like? Is it made of Cheese? I wish I could try some..." And little did he know that a shooting star would pass by him that night...
As he awakens from his slumber, he finds himself in a most unfamiliar place. He isn't on his bed, no, whatever he's lying on was far too... moist to be his bed. Opening his eyes, he discovers a most wondrous thing, his wish came true! He was on the moon! The Earth was far, far, away, he felt much less weighty than he did before, he had to pinch himself to know he wasn't dreaming! Reaching for the ground and taking a chunk, he discovers that it's rather... squishy? Taking the chunk and biting it, to his delight he discovers that the moon isn't just made of cheese, it's made of cheeseCAKE! With this revolutionary discovery paired with the delicious, silken quality of the mooncake, the raccoon quickly got to work, stuffing his face with as much cheesecake as he could handle at a time. Bit by bit, the people of Earth began to notice that their Moon was being replaced with a steadily-growing grey mass. As it grew bigger, it got closer and closer to Earth before making impact with America. Fortunately, the raccoon only squashed the continent and nowhere else (given that he was so soft that his impact had been completely cushioned.)
Satisfied with his moon feast, the new continent of Nasseis sat happily stationed in his permanent place as the new moon! Well, he will be the new moon once we can figure out how to get him into the sky. Until then, we can all enjoy having the world's best bed, continent, stress toy, you name it! So long as we keep the raccoon fed (and his Poképartner Mozzy by his side), it's truly a happier existence for all! Well, except for the North and South Americans, Canadians...

This is the biggest size I've made yet!
nasseis commissioned me to draw him big enough to crush my country, so I did just that! The whole "eating the moon" thing came from a little joke between me and him! This was lovely to do, and also my first-ever attempt at shading! I loved doing this and can't wait to do bigger sizes like this in the future, but for now, I believe I deserve some rest on the Bedeis. There's plenty of room here!
