I'm a Kingdom Hearts fan (Thanks, Volt hah. You brought this upon me), and I decided why not try to make my very own keyblade for my so-totally-official anthro form that no one has really seen except friends on discord? Who knows, maybe feral Acidic can wield this like how Sora does in his lion form from KH II. I haven't decided.
What I do know is that this was a fun little side project I started some weeks back. It's definitely not as polished as it could be, but it's mostly a clean concept. (Sorry there's no color palette)
And if you're a Kingdom Hearts fan, they always say, "May your heart be your guiding key"

Oh you do want to read more? I'm surprised...
Did you know that many references went into this design? I decided to make this keyblade very personalized to myself, so some references are extremely easy to spot. And, some are soo obscure only I would know them probably. Will I tell you all of them? Sure! You could try to guess though... I'd say there's about 13 (oh no) references here.
References (in no order)
1. The rings on the back of the key were originally for friend charms (still deciding this), but they're also inspired by broadswords that had rings put on the back of the blade!
2. The design is full of floral designs which is a nod to my overall love for nature and the world
3. There's a very abstract S shaped ribbon on the blade that was originally a serpent. I altered it to be a very abstract S to symbolize my love for reptiles.
4. The overall design and color choice was inspired by the colors from the colossi from my favorite game, Shadow of the Colossus. Keyblades like Oblivion also inspired my choice for the grim, muted, colorings.
5. Hidden within the design of the hilt, there's the Dream Eater Spirit symbol from the kingdom hearts games. I really really love them <3
6. The eye was a loose reference to a keyblade from the kh games, but it's main inspiration was from the colossi eyes from my favorite game, Shadow of the Colossus.
7. The green eye color is symbolism to my main character, Acidic.
8. The Spinosaurus skulls are the easiest to recognize, as they're my favorite species known to exist.
9. The lock (idk the terms sorry!) that is on the keychain was originally supposed to be a dragon, but I changed it to look different. The colors were very loosely inspired by my favorite KH character's (Riku) keyblade. Braveheart.
10. The magic sigil on the keychain is a huge reference to the game, Shadow of the Colossus
11. The name, "Weeping Divine" is a reference to my favorite tree species. The weeping willow tree.
12. There's a very small heart design that I threw in for fun as another reference to the kh series.
13. The overall shape of the blade is inspired by the ancient sword from Shadow of the Colossus
