As Crows are considered to be connected with the night due to their dark colors, yet are diurnal, or daytime, creatures, this shows us that magic can occur at any hour of any day. Open your mind and energies to the wonder that is around you all the time. This wonder is mirrored within us and it only takes a willingness to learn, adapt, and work hard to bring it out. The Crow reminds us that our ability to manifest is at hand. Connect with the powers around you and listen to the messages this week will bring.

This week's Rune is Thurisaz. Depicted as a thorn, this rune is a symbol of protection, defense, destruction, and regeneration. It can be seen as either an active defense or used as an attack against enemies. It is depicted as a thorn from a plant, yet is connected with the element of fire and a symbol of the lightning and thunder attributed to Thor's hammer, Mjollnir. Use Thurisaz when you wish to protect yourself against those wishing you harm or ill will, but know that this symbol will also aid you in awakening your will and overcoming obstacles found in uncomfortable situations. Thurisaz will aid you this week in giving you a push of additional strength. This week, work on tapping into your sight to become aware of energies and when to think before acting. This rune also warns us to consider the dark within ones self and how to deal with it positively in order to avoid it gaining strength over us. Do not let your negative fester within. Thurisaz will aid you in breaking down barriers in order to make way for a new beginning.

In the Internal Influence, we see Alligator. Don't rush. Let this week be about gathering information and organizing your thoughts as well as your environment. If making a decision, take the extra time to gather as much research as possibly from multiple perspectives before making your decision. This week's challenges may make you feel like nothing but the negative exists, but remember that where there is death there is life. Where there is darkness, there is light. Alligator represents the principles of land and water, life and death. Without one, there is no other. Others may think you are doing nothing, but in silence there is contemplation. In slowness, there is deliberation. Allow yourself to be strong as you work on protecting yourself and your territory. It may help to spend time cleaning and refreshing your home environment in order to aid in dealing with the outer environment of the world. Meditation will be beneficial to you in order to clean your inner mind, as well. Digest the information that has come to you, gather and absorb more research, and consider your options before making a decision.
