Remember what she did with the brigand leader who tried to stab her? Well, DID stab her.
wonder if there'll be a 'club bouquet' at some point then?
Panel 3 is an all time great reference, absolutely perfect. :D
Also, impending BONK. :o

Friga either harnessing her inner goblin or kobold this fight for this page.
She's starting to learn how to get sneaky while trying to swarm Fen's defenses it seems.

Hmm. That's the benefit/danger of meteor maces or flails. Hard to block.
They're downfall is the lack of resistance to trayectory change. A big chunk of the damage delt from sword's, hammers, clubs,... come from the weight of the wilder and the strength of the grip.
You can overcome mass with speed, after all: Kinetic energy or inertia is 1/2m*v(squared).
Wich means, if you double the mass, you multiply by 2 the force of impact. If you double the velocity, you multiply by 4 the force of impact. [Very very summarized]
So, most flail weapons, who weight similarly or less than other weapons, struggle to make damage but they have easier time to make contact.
...
On the other hand. Magic. Se might still have the "mass" in that impact.
I just really like pregunpowder fight.

Remember, they're playing with Halden energy, that club end could be quite a directional explosive if done right :)
Yeah, that's why I had the last paragraf.
Phisics may varie a little. And that's before the weapon could change it's own properties.
It could be sticky. Making a small tar glue bomb.
It could be be rapidly expanding. Either inflicting more knetic damage, heat damage or heat drain damage. Or a combination of the above.
It's just that I had an excuse to make a little presentation of why I do not like nunchuks and I used it.

Matrix and a Jurassic Park reference in the same page? You spoil us.
And here I was trying to remember the reference of 3rd panel haha
"Move, bitch, get out the way
Get out the way, bitch, get out the way"
- The stick, probably

Of course she is trying to hit you, what does Fen even mean? Any way, seems like Fen finally understands how she lost to the little red panda when she tries storming out the gate. She can think after all.
Judging by her eyeliner in the penultimate panel, I thought she was going to go for a cheap shot.
i was thinking "golf club" but slowly i'm thinking its a shillelagh she's swinging
Took the third time looking at this to get an understanding of what she just did in the last panel and I do believe Fen about to get upsided from the surprise maneuver.
Quick question: Could a Hadalin user make their weapon's surface so incredibly smooth, That is has very little friction and thus, Making it near impossible for an opponent to parry their weapon?
Theoretically possible, but very difficult to do.
that's....isn't that 'club stick' like a 4 Wood Driver?
...if y'all don't know Golf terms, I beg of you to look it up a bit in case I worded that wrong. xD

True. The Shape of the 'club head' reminded me of it, tho.
That's what the name was! I knew there was a term for that kind of weapon, but I couldn't remember it for the life of me.
"I said [hit], not tickle!" - Fen channeling the drill sergeant from the movie Glory.
Now that I reread the page, I wonder if we're going to get Fen's version of the ending of that scene. XD
Look at that grin. Fen has never been prouder to take a hit to the face.
I was not expecting that! But then I was expecting not to expect something, so it doesn't count.
Oh, so we are adding movie quotes now?
Can't wait to see how you fit "No, try not, do or do not, there is no try" somewhere in.
😹

This got me thinking: with the conjured hadalen weapons and items, does the conjurer need to think what material or matter it needs to replicate to interact with the world? I know if they're facing a sword welding opponent they'll be able to match it with a hadalen conjured sword or shield, but would they be able to match and parry an energy blade like a lightsaber or Halo energy sword?
Fen is masochist confirmed.
Also, Fen would know all about hitting things.

Hm. So Friga is a little weak, but is finally opening up her mind to the possibility of near infinite objects that can be summoned -- and altered -- by her mind.
Why stick with just a single manifestation? Why a cudgel?
Her free hand - even her TAIL - could produce and utilize different manifestations, such as whip and net. Or a completely disassociated manifestation like a falcon to attack from behind... or a flock of them.
Or... really throw her off and produce a freaking dildo/fleshlight combo...

She's learned one of the best parts about Android weapons, defenses only work if you don't go around them
Someone is going to wish they conjured up armguards in the morning...
