Absolutely adore how vibrant this page is! Incredible colors especially to see in a TF scene.
Also the light smattering of feathers appearing on sides of the face is such a great detail in transformations.

This is def why I wanted to start with the Kingfisher, I ADORE how bright and colourful those birds are so I definitely wanted to amp that up. I am a fan of vibrant colours no matter what I'm doing hahah!

Yup! It absolutely makes sense. Gives the feeling that the TF is happening everywhere, just to different degrees at this point along the process.
And seeing the feathers and colors mixing with the subjects normal hair color or skin tone is excellent.

exactly!! like the dna rearranging at different points! :D it's fun and it makes it fun to play around with like how can I mix things. biology is weird as heck so I like approaching that hahaha!
