Certainly captures the sweltering jungle and quetzalcoatl-flair.
The "dust-particle-and-sun-rays-effect" also adds a nice ambience to the pic (don't know the actual, right term for that, haha)

This is quite well done and I like how the grayscale enhances the image. It looks like some kind of tropical snake in the jungle smirking at the viewer.
It's harder to pull off this kind of lighting in grayscale, but you did it well. And the snake looks so soft as well.
