*tough patagonia is a geografic region, split between chile and argentina, and the mountains are the andes, they start in colombia and go all the way to antartica, yeah, its super loooooooong!
and funny thing, Chile the andes covered all the nation, until the mid part fell down and flatten, making us a sandwich, with mountains in the coast (with the creative name the costal mountain range, tough it was part of the andes) and the andes mountain range.
and patagonia comes from patagon, meaning big foot, as spanish saw the natives as having big feet, so patagonia you can translate it as the land of big foot lmao
