My first (technically second. I made a blahaj to learn blender) modeling project.
It's just a static mesh... Or really like 12 of the glued together... I have no idea what I'm doing but look at him! He's cute!
I really don't wanna succ my own cocc too hard but I'm really happy with the way his stomach shape turned out. This is based off a side perspective drawing I made last year. Finally a good reason for me to keep drawing side perspective!!!
(tho I should work on front on as well.)
I also love how the ears and texture turned out. The former was sort of just genet experience and the latter was I just think the messy pixel art aesthetic is fun.
This was all a first try first pass at like 12-2am trying to figure out texture painting and uv unwrapping... I still don't quite understand manual uv unwrapping but I learned I can make blender do it for me and it's "good enough"™
I definitely wanna keep practicing modeling. It feels like something I could really get into. Especially since low poly aesthetic is getting popular there are a lot of resources out there for learning.
But yeah rub his tummy and feed him like 6000 calories of low poly food in an hour.
