Okay okay, so this wasn't a delivery person, but it was somebody scooting about grooving with headphones and no helmet, just vibing. They were hand dancing, yes, but sometimes the music do be that good. I've never ridden a scooter so I have no idea if you need both hands all the time or not. This was over in the Church Wellesley Village area, across the street from Storm Crow Manor! We were perusing some kinda outdoor queer market thing. It was cute and fine and sunny. Made them a rhino, because they just seemed wholly unconcerned about collisions >_<

It is a wonderful place for people-watching. 8) Scooters have the same controls layout as a bicycle with a brake on each handlebar, so single-hand riding isn't _too_ dangerous. Personally, I'd keep my left hand on the bars - lot less likely to flip if you have to bake suddenly. Motorcycle have the clutch (hand) and transmission (foot) on the left, throttle & front brake (hand) and rear brake (foot) on the right.
The smaller the wheels, the more hands you need on the handlebars. For standing scooters with 10 inch or so wheels you need both hands. It gets a bit sketchy hand signaling with one hand off the controls. It's okayish if the road is not rough.
Hand signaling on a bicycle with 26 inch wheels is easier than on a bicycle with 20 inch wheels. A gas scooter is probably easier going one handed since I imagine the interface between body and handlebars has more friction. You have to put more force into turning the handlebars.
Hits close to home (literally!). Love the character in this, the vibes are immaculate.

I dunno....I think headphones and scooters/motorbikes is a bad idea.
I'm curious, are these bikes real models, or your own designs?
Uh, I make them up, but I look at real ones based on what I can remember, but I don't stress the details XD
