Hello dear readers. I created this account so I could get in touch with CarlMinez after reading about his amazing love-filled adventure between Flame and Spyro.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35048393/ (go read his adventure before reading my fanfiction)
With the agreement of this incredible writer that is @CarlMinez, I want to give him praise by writing an "UNOFFICIAL" sequel to his incredible story. This new adventure will be divided into chapters, themselves divided in part in order to offer you quick rendering, while preserving the length of a new story.
Sorry again for the long wait, but I haven’t forgotten you! I even enlarged in my head the scenario of this story, to the point that it is no longer a simple fan fiction, but a first book as you could read in the title! I will have to modify all the titles already existing. Help ! ^^'
As a reminder, our dear Ember has just learned that his love to come in the future is in reality the dragon of fear, their sworn enemy, even if it is in collaboration with another dragon much older. This chapter will therefore focus on our favorite pink dragon in full doubt on its future and on the mink that the tree of destiny showed him. Enjoy your reading!

Book 1: The Fear Ripper
Chapter 2: Two Glimmers of Hope
Part 4: Uncertain Feelings
Cynder and Ashes were shocked by what their pink friend had just revealed to them. The blue green dragon of the vision of his destiny that Ember had while eating the fruit of the tree of destiny, was actually the dragon of fear, formerly known as Spike. Despite the fact that he just wanted to bring his twin sister back to life, he was still their enemy. His intentions were unnatural, and Cynder knew this well after being subjected to the force of evil and forced in spite of herself to bring the black master back to life.
"I understand how you feel, Ember. You wonder how your vision will happen when he is our enemy?" Ashes said.
"Yes... Unless he’s not really himself..." Try to convince himself the pink dragon.
"You mean, as he was commanded by this power of fear?" replied Cynder, who understood what her friend Ember was getting at.
"Maybe... I don’t know..." hesitated Ember all confused before resuming.
"I need to get some air... and be alone... excuse me girls..." Ember went on before getting up and leaving the room, but with the mental support of his friends.
Ashes was very sad for her long-time friend and felt very bad for her. It was then that she was caught in large legs and stuck against a soft and slender body before seeing Cynder’s head clinging against her. The grey dragon began to blush and to let herself go against her, beginning to let her feelings and her well being take over in the presence of Cynder.
"Let’s go to sleep, baby. Ember knows we’re here for her and Ember will need some rest. We’ll have to be in shape so she can recover." He noticed Cynder licking the neck of the grey dragon on his cheek, which made him shiver.
"You... you’re right, Cynd... thank you." She squeezed herself against her and was carried until she was lying in her bed with Cynder and fell asleep against each other.
On the Ember side, the pink dragon walked through the temple gardens looking at the sky, revealing a magnificent starry night, with a moon and another ball in the sky that was to be another satellite of the planet. She had never taken the time to notice this because in her original world there was no such vision of the night.
The pink dragon sat down and remained there, staring at the night sky, cramming in the distance below, a few guards who were circulating in the streets adjacent to the raised temple in the middle of Warfang. The city had regained its calm following the intervention of the dragon of fear in the dreams of the citizens. She thought for a moment to see Spike’s face very clearly in the sky. Her face before she was that masked dragon and shed a tear, remembering the feelings she had felt for him during her vision. However the dragon said to herself that it was not real because she felt nothing for him at the present moment and the doubt settled in her mind.
His gaze devia on the tree of destiny and rose to approach it. Looking at a fruit, she hesitated to take one back, lest it be another destiny she saw. The pink dragon was also afraid that the fruit would dry up upon contact with her, as her request to relive the future moment with Spike could be considered impure, as she had explained...
"Ember, is everything okay?" Did a voice behind her.
"Hun... Hunter!?" The pink dragon started.
"Forgive me, Ember, I didn’t mean to frighten you." Apologized the two-legged feline.
"Do you want to be alone?" he went on, preparing to leave.
"No no stay! I was thinking about what you told me about this tree... I... I’m starting to regret having this vision... If it is real and it will come true..." Ember sadly began.
"Why is that? What has changed since your vision?" Hunter wondered.
Ember told Hunter all that had happened with the Chronicler, her vision of the tree of destiny, the feelings she would feel in the near future compared to her current feelings and finally, the discovery of the identity of the dragon of fear who is none other than the dragon of his vision.
"Well, that’s a lot in such a short time." Hunter replied, assimilating all his information.
"Yes... Do you really think that what I saw will come true? I need you to tell me more about his visions. Can they be changed? Are they reliable?" Supplia Ember looking for answers.
'Ember, know that what the fruits of the tree of destiny show always happens. Of course, the future is always in motion because of the choices we decide to make at some point, but some choices will result in the same way, regardless of how things go. It is the consequences of his choices in particular that are shown to us." Hunter explained more precisely.
"So... I’m going to love a formidable enemy even if its causes are noble?" summed up Ember in confusion.
"No. You will fall in love with Spike, not with the dragon of fear. That’s the difference." the two-legged feline wisely replied.
"What difference does it make? Is it the same dragon?" Ember asked as his voice filled with despair and lowered his head. Hunter faced him gently and gently raised his snout so that she looked him in the eye.
"It depends if you choose to save him from that part of him. Just like Spyro to save Cynder from the darkness that darkened his heart." Hunter concluded as Ember’s gaze lit up.
She was so used to being around her friend Cynder that she had forgotten the dark past and the one she had once been. That Cynder didn’t exist, or didn’t exist for her anymore, so why couldn’t it be for Spike, she wondered. Ember smiled and gently embraced Hunter as he had released him from a weight. The latter smiled and gently tapped the scaly back of the pink strap. She backed up and sat down staring at the tree of destiny with serenity this time.
"I will leave you to your thoughts Ember. But don’t forget that you have friends who will never abandon you." Reassured Hunter by placing one of his paws on Ember’s shoulder, who warmly thanked his two-legged feline friend. The latter began to move away and Ember suddenly turned around.
"Hunter!" Interpellated Ember.
"Yes, my friend?" Hunter wondered.
"How do you all know that about the tree of destiny? Have you ever eaten one of its fruits?... If not indiscreet." He wondered Ember scratching the ground timidly.
"It was the great dragon Ignitus who told me all about this magical tree. And yes, the tree granted me the right to eat one of its fruits." Smiled Hunter, delighted to share this with the young dragon.
"Did it show you a possible beloved?" asked Ember with a smirk, not taking herself seriously.
"Hahaha! No no. The tree showed me something very different when I started to lose hope." Replied he laughing and smiling at the pink dragon.
"What did you show him?" asked Ember again, timidly.
"That I was going to find Spyro, Cynder and Sparx." He replied, smiling at Ember, and the two friends nodded silently.
The dragon knew what a heavy event Hunter was talking about, the one where the trio had to lock themselves in a hibernation crystal to escape the collapse of the soul pit, and didn’t want to talk about it, she watched the two-legged feline resume her journey before looking again at the tree of destiny, returning in her thoughts to what she was seeking in her heart, that is, a companion who would illuminate her life like a princess, even though she had learned to control her ego thanks to the strong relationship between her little brother Flame and Spyro. There had been so many obstacles between them, so many conflicts, uncertainty and misunderstandings that could have separated them a thousand times, but that inner fire that bound them had survived. That’s what Ember was also looking for, not one of his many pretending dragons who wouldn’t say no to spending time with her so there wouldn’t be any passion behind it. There was Umber, her flight companion, whom she trusted, but she felt nothing for him except friendship.
The pink strap began to dip from the nose, until falling asleep on the ground without realizing it. Half an hour later, she heard a voice and opened her eyes to see her little brother Flame looking at her with anxiety.
"Waaaa... What? Ho.. Um?" she said yawning a little disturbed.
"You fell asleep, sis... are you okay?" Asked Flame lying down against her flank and covering her body with one of her wings even though he did not cover it entirely due to the difference in size despite the large wings of the red and yellow dragon.
"Thank you little brother. It’s okay, I’m just thinking about this dragon of my vision... It’s about Spike." She said because only her dragon friends and Hunter knew.
"Spike!? The dragon of fear? Woah... I understand that this is a subject that makes you think. What do you intend to do when we confront him?" asked Flame in a worried manner.

'I don’t know... I guess I would be in the moment. But I must not forget that the dragon of fear is someone other than the Spike we saw. Hunter reminded me of this by using Cynder as an example." She explained to you by embracing her little brother, who let himself be done, and even began to respond to her affections.
"It’s true that their stories are close enough, even if this masked dragon is still a threat to Warfang. But I trust you. If there is a dragon that can change it, it is you." Flame replied, calling her head under the neck of her big sister, who smiled and shed a few tears.
Never in the past had they been so close, always to quarrel, but their adventure in front of the two elders, Astor and Tomas and their plan to get rid of Spyro and Cynder who became a threat to them, had brought Flame and Ember closer. Even though the red and yellow dragon was more serene since he had found Spyro as an official companion, he was still temperamental. What earned Ember to be tackled to the ground by himself without her seeing it coming.
"But I’m still stronger than you!" he says, holding his big sister to the ground at best by pressing his shoulders and growling in a playful manner. The air of the dragon changed and entered his game.
"Ha yeah!?" She answered by gathering her physical strength, and rolled to the side, taking Flame with her to be on him this time.
The two dragons rolled to the ground for a good minute, in the same way as during their past quarrels, but with a more playful and nostalgic attitude than in the dispute. Their rolling eventually took them to the edge of the temple garden and they fell together into the small stream. They let go and went up to the surface, looking at each other and laughing, smashing themselves in the passage, pushing water on each other’s faces with their front legs. They stopped and climbed to the edge to return to the lawn of the garden and shook to dry.
"Does that count as a tie?" Ember asked his little brother with a smirk.
"Yes, but I will have my revenge and there will be no creek to help you!" he answered with determination.
"That’s it, little brother!" Ember retorted, patting Flame on the head with one of his front legs, of course insisting on the word "small".
He took his paw from her with one of his own, grumbling in a provocative manner as Ember pulled his tongue. The two dragons began to walk back to their respective dormitory and gave each other one last hug before separating. Ember opened the door gently and saw her friends asleep, one in the legs of the other, and looked at them a little tenderized. She noticed that Cynder had his tail that almost wound Ashes, the blade of his tail positioned with a protective air ready to brandish if anyone approached the gray dragon. The pink dragon understood this strong link between Flame and Spyro or Ashes and Cynder. The need to constantly be with her half and protect her.
The word protect remained in his head, as well as Hunter’s words, to counter the torments of doubts they still had about his vision. Did it have to protect her half of herself? Ember said to himself that yes, seeing the change of his little brother who kept things that hurt him for himself, without talking about it, before he decided to make a promise to Spyro to tell him everything. This caused too much misunderstanding between them due to his fiery temperament and his lack of confidence in him. At every event in the life of the red and yellow dragon, his mind had made him imagine things that did not exist, such as imagining that Spyro and Ember had begun to frolic when the purple dragon returned, when he was just trying to figure out how Flame was doing indirectly through Ember.
After this reflection looking at the two dragonns that were beginning to fall in love with each other, Ember turned to his bed and lay there, more soothed than when she had left the room barely an hour ago. She slowly closed her eyes and looked a little more at the two dragonns. On Flame’s side, he opened the door normally and Spyro straightened up as if he had always been awake.
"So Flamy? How’s Ember doing?" Spyro asked who grabbed him to make him lie down against him by pressing the red dragon’s back against his chest.
"She’s better, I hope. We’ll see about that tomorrow." He turns his head to lick her purple companion’s snout.
"Yes, we must sleep because tomorrow we will tell the wise that we know where the dragon of fear is hiding. Chances are we’ll have to face it." Said he a little nervous, because he had faced many enemies, but not of that kind, who in addition was looking to find a loved one and Spyro did not yet know if the dragon of fear was good, bad, or both.
"We’ll get there, handsome!" Flame reassured even if he was half convinced, but the presence of Spyro made all the difference.
"Ho with you who will surely make us a plan without hitches, I do not doubt Flamy darling!" Answered the purple dragon by squeezing the red dragon against him as he felt hot flashes in his body. A few minutes later, they fell asleep in their turn, their mind soothed, knowing each other to the end. The rest of the night passed quietly in the city, but one of the sages was awake and reflecting in front of the large table in the temple reception room. Hunter joined him after comforting Ember with his wisdom.
"Master Terrador." Greeted Hunter by joining him.
"Hunter, thank you for coming, especially at this late hour." Apologized to the sage of the earth at the same time as thanking the feline.
"That’s quite normal. The beginning of the night was very hectic and I don’t think it stopped with you, our group of friends or me. I guess that’s why you’re alone. You think all of Warfang was the victim of that night mental attack?" Hunter asked who, despite his resistance, showed some signs of fatigue, not accustomed to facing enemies through the mind.
'Indeed, Hunter, we must be vigilant because the dragon of fear will not stop until he gets what he wants. Cyril and Volteer have heavy sleep. Are our young heroes resting?" Terrador replied as he made a little order in some of his papers.
"Yes, Master Terrador, I met Ember who explained interesting things about our enemy." Explained Hunter to the sage of the earth who was very attentive.
Hunter recited to him all that Ember and the rest of the Ignitus order had experienced that night with the Chronicler, except the part that intimately concerned the pink dragon and Spike in the upcoming events after the tree of destiny.
"I see. So the dragon of fear found refuge in the ruins of the well of souls, this cursed place?" asked Terrador for confirmation.
"That’s right, but in the description she gave me, it didn’t remind me of any known piece of this place, either for Spyro or for myself during my research." Explained Hunter in full reflection.
"What are you thinking, Hunter? Do you have a theory about this cave where the dragon of fear hides?" Terrador looked at Hunter with kindness.
"When I discovered where Spyro would be headed after being kidnapped by his pirates, I explored countless places to find his trail in the well of souls after more than two and a half years of searching. I searched every collapsed room until I headed to the last unexplored room. A troop of Malefor’s servants was there with me, and I followed them. They led me straight to them. But I can assure you that there was no cave like this." Termina Hunter in his reflections.
"So that means that this room that has three statues of the same deformed creature was set up at least after you left the well of souls." Terrador concluded with a heavy grunt of reflection.
"Exactly Master Terrador. I also think that it is the defeat of Malefor himself that triggered all." Overbidding Hunter to share the entirety of his hypotheses with the sage of the earth.
'It does seem logical to me... We must now stop the dragon of fear, as well as find out who this dragon is that he serves in exchange for bringing his twin sister back to life. For this we need all our energy. You should go rest, Hunter, tomorrow may be a decisive day." Finish Terrador by nodding to Hunter who did the same.
"Rest also master Terrador." They greeted each other before the two-legged feline crossed one of the two aisles of the temple to return to his quarters, while the sage of the earth remained a little and began to meditate in front of the immense table of the council room.
After a few minutes of calm, a bright bluish white light appeared in the middle of the huge round table and a familiar figure appeared as the sage of the earth slowly opened his eyes without being surprised by what was happening in front of him.
"Ignitus, my friend, thank you for hearing my call." Thank Terrador for looking at Ignitus' immaterial silhouette.
"I have heard your torments and we have not yet had the joy of speaking privately my friend. What can I do for you?" Asked the new Chronicler in a distant and gentle voice.
"When we saw each other, you looked at me and said that Warfang would need a leader to guide them if Malefor had succeeded in her quest for destruction, without really saying that you wanted me to be that leader..." Began the sage of the earth by thinking back to this painful moment of separation even though he had not shown it to remain focused on protecting the inhabitants of Warfang.
"And even today, I know I made the right choice, my friend." Ignitus replied with respect and strong friendship, looking at the one who has always been his best friend since they were very young.
"Thank you Ignitus, it warms my heart to hear you say it. You and I knew then that we would see each other more... at least not under the same circumstances." Confided the wise man of the earth to his best friend even if he did not want to say it in the way he knew that Ignitus would not come back alive to help Spyro and Cynder fulfill their destiny.
"But it is not to hear this especially that you wanted to speak to me Terrador." Ignitus said, looking at the wise man of the earth with benevolence.
"No indeed, even if it gives me strength and motivation. I wanted you to tell me how you feel about Spyro... How did it start? How did it develop?" Supplia almost Terrador even if he didn’t show it.
'I understand what you mean. I saw in Spyro the son that I had, but that was done over time, until without saying it, Spyro and I were father and son. I took care of him as I did since he was an egg. And this also applies to Cynder." Ignitus confesses that he opened his heart to his friend.
"I understand better some of your choices to look after them, Ignitus. But I think I’m starting to feel the same way about young Ashes. Very temperamental, defends her friends, who is not afraid to say what she thinks..." Terrador started before Ignitus finished his sentence.
"... And who knows how to put Volteer and Cyril back in place during their disputes." Termina Ignitus.
A few seconds elapsed as the two friends silently stared at each other before they laughed at the outbursts together. They calmed down while catching their breath and Ignitus resumed.
"Yes, she looks a lot like you, my friend." The new Chronicler recalled the many years spent with Terrador, the two best friends the ancients had never seen.
"Thank you very much for your attention, Mr.Chronicler." Thanked Terrador in his own way with a little backbone, to congratulate his friend on having been the deserving dragon of this age.
"Please, my friend. If you need me, I’ll be there." Ignitus concluded by watching his friend happy to have been able to share this moment with him.
They settled until Ignitus disappeared completely and Terrador was able to go to his quarters, the light heart of having been able to find his best friend and that he could sleep in peace.
