My friend saw me work on this and mentioned that these two look more like villains then heros :’D Whoops! I’m just going to blame that on the red and black color scheme…
But anyways this is a two man hero team drawn in the style of My Hero Academia! Raijo (Red Lightning) is full of energy (literally,… it’s busting from his fingertips) and he has a strong sense of justice! He’s also the type to take someone younger and less experienced under his wing. Well in this case he’s under Mro’s wing technically, but you get what I mean XD Mro would gladly let the veteran hero take the lead, he’s just here to do his job and ensure that no civilians get hurt!

I wanted to include Mro in this image since he and Raijo have similar aesthetics going on (red head fight boy energy) and CaptainJ0_ mentioned that Raijo would want to act as a role model for Mro if they ever met. But the more I thought about it the more I wanted to invent a version of Mro that would fit into the Hero Academia universe so bellow is my ramble about that XD
MHA takes place on an alternate version of earth so Mro would actually be a transfer student from Spain named Miguel. Like canon, he still comes from a wealthy family. My thought is that his mother Kiet (Carolina in this AU) used to be a hero but she got her hero license revoked for participating in some “less then heroic” schemes. She wasn’t imprisoned, there wasn’t enough evidence to convict her, but she can’t do hero work anymore so she’s decided to make Miguel get into the hero business in her stead.
The pirate outfit was her idea. It’s both a nod to the Spanish pirates of old and it suits Miguel’s quirk. “Dragon’s Treasure” allows Mro to shapeshift dragon features but only if he is touching or in close proximity to gold or other valuable items. The items have to be valuable to more than just himself, so a precious photo or childhood toy won’t do the job, and the amount of power he can draw from the item will actually go down if the item decreases in value across the globe (A super power based on the stock market… it’s so silly but I like those kinds of super powers XD)
If Miguel is wearing a precious item when he transforms then the item will change in size to try and stay on his dragon form, but once he takes the thing off it returns to it’s normal size. Lastly if Miguel finds himself surrounded by wealth his dragon side will try to take over! When he’s a full dragon he’s more interested in getting more treasure and more power instead of saving people.
This detail is what earned Miguel the hero name Greed. He doesn’t like that title but his mother really pushed it for his branding so now he’s stuck with it. At least it’s better then his sister’s suggestion… the pirate hero “Scaley-Wag”.

I wouldn't say they look like villains, but that guy in the front does look like he's a troublemaker that would give a principal or dean headaches. But yeah, they look like interesting characters!
