So uh.
I finished HxH's Chimera Ant arc and...
yeah...the emotional damage is irreparable. To the point I couldnt stop from crying IRL even tho I already KNEW what was coming.
It's been a day and my heart is still shattered into a million little pieces. ;u;
So i did a quick thing to try and cheer myself up. As much as I simped over Meruem in...unsavory ways, I honestly think he and Komugi truly deserved eachother goddammit T///T (And yes! That is supposed to be her hand here.)
Pretty sure this idea's already been drawn before by more skilled fanartists but what matters is *I* made it for *me*!

I recommend going in as blind as possible - even though I kinda already knew what happened going into this anime, i didnt know the context and so I got to experience the buildup first-hand!
He was truly the best chimera ant, both figuratively and literally. but I had a thing for Leol, and I loved pouf's drama😹

When he was asking Komugi if she was still there, his VA was actually tearing up while they were recording the lines. ;W;
But yes! The build up to their final moments was beautifully done ;-; As much as I loved when he was an actual threat...in the end he really did become peak KING. ;V;
