Here, Shadow shows the Biolizard why IT wasn't chosen as the final version of The Ultimate Lifeform. By growing to an incredible size. And sitting on it. Questionable method, maybe, but it certainly gets the point across! (Dear gods, he's crushing its life support systems!)
I will say, if there's one thing
AirAmy and 
honeycoves have made a convincing argument for, it's that Shadow's optimal form may just involve being incredibly fat. But I'll gladly add in "being titanic" as well.
