In recent memory, the tradition of not shaving during the NHL playoffs has begun to extend even to the mascots. So much so that some, like Stanley and Viktor, were seen being mocked for not having them.
Verity: "Better late than never.
"And before anyone asks: Yes, I'm going to give a pet skitsune to each of them -- they don't have to share just the one. Which I would have done even without the expectation that whichever one of me gets to curl up inside that lovably fat rat will never want to come out.
"And no, Chance from Las Vegas does not get one. Vegas already made off with my creator's temper, sanity, and faith in humanity. Why would I ever leave even one of myself behind on top of that?"
