The story as to why the episode took so long to come out is cool too.
Fiance was really curious as to why it took so long so did some digging. More then welcome to look yourself so you find sources as I am just repeating what she told me.
Apparently Kesha was a fan of the show and wanted to do the song and character. Recorded the song and all that but then the people of her music label found out and didn't want to be associating with that project and said not happening, we own your voice. Your not signing for this. So Kesha said fuck it, personally found someone on youtube who could mimic her signing and asked them to do it. Rochelle Diamante does the signing part for the character, who they also redesigned the looks up going off of her song Queen Bee for inspiration hence the bee aesthetics of the character. And then Kesha did all the normal dialog lines of the character. Thus getting around her producers and such. It just took a long time to do all this which is why the episode took so long to come out.

Kesha just can't catch a break, huh? Fame isn't worth selling your soul in my opinion
Eh everything has a cost, it is wild to think a studio or group can claim rights to your very voice. But it still awesome she find a loophole to still do this thing she wanted to do.
Not every cost is supposed to be unreasonable though, but Kesha in particular has a history of people taking advantage of her, so the story isn’t surprising,
heehe, Didn't take long. X3 I do LOVE her character design. ^.^
