In celebration of the new Legend of Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom, the amazing 
Howlite has done it again! My Woodpecker Rito sona is relaxing back home in Rito Village poring over the many notes he took while researching the Zonai Ruins down south in the Faron Jungles and even in Thyphlo Ruins once the mysterious shadows lifted (see here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39780016/ ). There is just so much to learn about the Zonai and their civilization and I cannot wait to share my results with the newly formed Zonai Research Team. What could these strange creatures be? And these lotus blossoms? And the swooping bird? All of it is so fascinating!

And do give Tears of the Kingdom a try if you haven't! I have not beaten it yet, but it feels so much bigger than the already huge Breath of the Wild.

Holy cow thats such an awesome pic! Your bird looks great here so relaxed and checking over all their notes. So many neat markings and feather patterns. So nice :>
Thank you! I'm thrilled with it! And yes, that's the look I was hoping for. Thoughtful and trying to solve the riddle of the Zonai! Woodpecker's do have neat markings; incorporating my scar pattern into the feathers has been a brilliant touch.

It really shows how well the artist was able to translate all the cool patterns of both types! I'm sure my silly scout Skaven would be happy to find fellow note takers and report writers.
I'm so very grateful to Howlite for managing all of that with aplomb! And that might be an odd meeting there since both would be utterly unknown species to one another.
