"come on buddy! almost there! not much further!" RJ, the quilava said from ontop of the cliff overjoyed urging his linoone guild partner.
"H-Hang on just a sec. You know I need a bit longer!" answered Kuro slowly heaving his body up the cliff wall.
"yeah I know. Sorry Kuro I shouldn't rush you. Big guy needs his time~" *RJ chuckled*
"Oh shush you! I know you like it!" Kuro was searching for some footing but all his claw could manage to find was his own belly being in the way. "I uhhh might need a second longer Ray."
"come on where is a damn rock. would be real great if that belly could cooperate with me. dangit...." Kuro mumbled to himself as he had to stretch his leg reaaaal far to even touch any rock.
"Windy Peaks, great idea. I knew it wouldn't be as easy as the last time we were here but... I hate to admit it maybe I have gotten too big for this place?" Kuro started blushing "no such thing as too big. just gotta try harder and get stronger"
With one big swing of his claw he managed to finally find a rock as he pulled himself up. All 1300 pounds of himself.
Just 3 more steps and he finally catches up to his partner.
If there is one thing he knew for sure, it's that he's gonna avoid climbing for a while. Not because he's fat, not because he is oversizingly large. No just because it is unwieldy no other reason.
