Edwin Sketch-a-Week: W22
🎨: chy.ume
A straightforward piece. I like enjoy how the face spot turned out, the flair of the eyebrows above the eye lids, and how the simplified noes and mouth turned out. Also, a fun comic-like shading effect on the collar (works with the expression symbol).
Detail = Some. Captures the key details without too much elaboration. The muzzle, eye lids, and eyebrows add a degree of sophistication, as well as the light shading throughout the piece.
Shape & Borders = just shy of Slightly Sharp, Hard Lines. The silhouette has a think border and there are some features the have hard borders (e.g., between layers of clothing), but there are other places were the lines are either soft or the color is smudged (e.g., the hand and book).
Anthro type = Near-Human. The skull shape is rather human-like with those forward facing eyes.
Furry Art Style Category = Minimalistic, but close to the Toony style.

Probably the Art of War or the Thirty-six Stratagems. Both are very fun reads.
