every so-often I challenge myself to draw every species of Neopet (54 or 55 depending on if you want to include the newest species). To keep it interesting from the last round, I set myself up certain rules to follow!

This round, I wanted to practice composition, use a limited amount of art supplies, all in preset 3inx3in squares. I also wanted to try to depict the world of Neopia as I imagine it personally (as someone who grew up with a very specific era of the site, which has changed in its sensibilities many times over the years!).

I also wanted to include petpets and petpetpets (:! to help it feel more like a 'world', and to force more variety.

-yellow Acara investigate the reef. a maraquan Acara hides amongst kelp, tempting with treasure. Floud swim by.

-Buzz plucking fruit soar high above the treetops; one has (accidentally?) caught a Hasee.

-a white Cybunny plays with her two white Garooda amongst the snowfall

-A white and Checkered Draik on their non-Neopian homeworld. (Draik are said to have suddenly appeared in Neopia, as if from another world).

-Snowbunny play with an Abominable Snowball (and steal its arm), while Bruce cavort and argue over who threw a snowball.

-a Bori investigates a rumored cursed cavern. Glack and Mibblie chill about. The Bori power the lanterns lighting the caves with their own souls.

-a faerie Chomby plays in the clouds with her Cloudy friend

-a disco Blumaroo & its petpet, a Fungree, are plunged to the depths. a maraquan Blumaroo girlie flanked by Baby Blu investigate

-plushie Flotsam in an oceanic plushie wonderland, with Plushie Felly & Urgoni
