Edwin Sketch-a-Week: W21

100% love the mood of this piece, which taps into something akin to "American Gothic." There is an phenomenal amount of detail shown with the physiology of the cheeks, the nose and front end of the snout, and the folds of the ear. The expression is a combination of grumpy and having to hold the expression for too long, like if Edwin was being used as a model for the artist. Lastly, the shading in the fur give it a texture that is perceptible but almost overlooked.
This is the most detailed piece of the project thus far and one of my favorites! Please give rohansartcorner a look. They are open for PWYW sketches (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51590565/). I am sure you could get something similar to this Edwin piece.
Detail = just beyond Great. Honestly, I do not know how you could get more detailed for a black and white sketch. Again, the physiological detail is subtle, amazing, and appropriate for a hare (not a common species)!
Shape & Borders = just beyond Sharp, Hard Lines. Clear boundaries are throughout this piece. The shading on the clothing have distinct borders and have articulated lines.
Anthro type = Beast Person. Look at the shape of the skull and everything about the ears. Some study went into how to represent those ears!
Furry Art Style Category = A solid example of a Technical piece.
