when a world is created, it begins as an idea. the idea subdivides into themes, which generate/are claimed by heirs, perspectives which interpret each theme and become the original concepts by which the world begins to define itself. these heirs create servants, which contain various interpretations of elemental themes remixed, and through them they conduct the succession, by which the terms of the new world are negotiated
once that"s done, time begins, the heirs retreat, successors and mortals are created--it didn"t happen this time
succession is unending, time is broken, continuity failed, and mortality nonexistent
heirdom is claimable by anyone, authorial gates are hijacked regularly, entities create themselves from the ground up, everything"s completely fucked,
but that"s just how things are for Chemerel, this is just normal. somehow the world manages to survive through horrid momentum like a rockslide which has gained an identity of itself as a disaster
... mostly an excuse to have a setting to draw weird no filter meta nonsense where the average person"s story isn"t about like, yhelm dealing with family or sasfsets dealing with addiction but more "damn, my story is running low, i"m going to hijack this nacesent concept and have it retroactively always been my friend" or "fuck this guy"s going back into continuity and trying to kill me before i was powerful, that asshole i"m going to befriend him in the past so he"ll stop in the future"

It's always super neat to see the way you capture that meta sequencing, both in your writing and art. You do a great job with creating an understanding there, and a sense of existence beyond. And the character just has such a neat design, too: alien and yet understandable, something more than what it appears to be, exotic and beautiful.
