Team Incarnates: Savior's Crucifixion (4/4)
This artwork is entirely fictitious and it does not have a relation to the real-life religious crusade and sacrilegiousness.
Continued from The Golem's Last Judgment, it has been ended...After Andy and Schaal distract the Golem from executing Topher the Gargoyle Incarnate who has been wounded deeply by the ancestral dagger, the Golem walks toward them in last mercy and in blind devotion to punish them to death for their sins using the "true justice" and deeming himself as the Messiah, despite their self-defense and Andy's revenge for murdering his mother over petty theft...
...In a moment of deep resolve, Topher lifts his head up fast. His eyes are glowing crimson red, yet not with anger, but with a sudden burst of courage and strength given by his inner beast; as the inner Gargoyle urges him to finish off the evil for the sake of God and in the name of true righteousness. He reaches into his flank and pulls the dagger out despite the pain that comes of it and the blood that spills. Dashing forward with all his might, Topher lets out a battle cry as he stabs the blade into the back of Golem's neck; paralyzing him. The Golem gags in pain. Not stopping there, Topher rams the Golem Incarnate into a wall before grabbing a metal rail from one of the banisters which he then breaks into three pieces (two small pieces and one long piece). With lightning-fast reflexes, he stabs both the smaller pieces through the Golem's hands at the wrists until they go right through to the wall. Lastly, he impales the long rod through Golem's chest until it pierces through to the outside. The last one makes Golem roar in ungodly agony into the night as blood actually starts to pour from his wounds!
Groaning in an agony of his crucifixion, Golem's vision is blurry as he coughs up blood. He sees Topher now standing in front of him, whose red-glowing eyes have turned back to human ones. Topher shifts himself back in human form, still naked while having a hand over his partially bleeding flank. Just then, footsteps are heard approaching. He doesn't need to turn to know it is fellow teammates. A hand touches his shoulder, it is Hank who asks if he is alright. Panting, Topher responds that he will be alright. The Werewolf Incarnate then holds out a gun towards Topher, it is the one loaded with the Godkiller bullets. Recognizing the weapon and its purpose, Topher recites the vow of Team Incarnates before taking it in hand. Making sure he is on a level with the Golem Incarnate, he takes aim with the gun right at the Golem's face.
The Golem Incarnate weakly addresses his victorious opponent and former friend. "Gargoyle...humans...have no justice." Topher looks upon his former friend with sorrow. "Your words may be sincere, Matt...but that doesn't mean they are true." Golem rasps back. "Well then...I hope...the justice you find...is what you seek." Those are his last words before Topher ends his suffering with a Godkiller bullet to the head, the shot ringing out into the dark night.
