Biography: MorphMoth.EXE is a NetNavi created by Junichiro for his daughter Sola to use both at home, and in the Battle Network universe. He was made using data on moths & on how to recycle materials better when the need arose to do so. His partner, CommanderYammark.EXE, who is also operated by Sola, was made with a different set of data. He bears a great deal of resemblance to the maverick he is named after as he has the same antennae & proboscis as the original. However, his arms & legs are as slim as MegaMan.EXE's are and his overall body armor appears a tad lighter than the original's does. His wings have the coloration of a Tiger Moth's, and he is capable of folding them like an actual moth when he is not in battle. And speaking of his wings, the vents on his wings are non-existent to give them a realistic appearance. And they act as an actual moth's wings do; being able to fold down when not in use, and up when he's about to take flight. This makes it easy for him to be in tight spaces. In the Battle Network universe, he, along with other navis made by Juni for his children to use (Sans those made by some select older daughters of his who made their own) made his school debut during the first attacks launched by WWW in ACDC Elementary's Class 5-A where his operator was enlisted as a student to learn the fundementals of virus busting, and he proved to be a very quick study as well. He had his first real netbattle against fellow classmate Roll.EXE, but MorphMoth.EXE was able to defeat her without issue. In the battles against Netcrime, MorphMoth.EXE had a great number of uses, but he seemed to really be helpful during Princess Pride's attempt at offing each ONBA member in the Netopian Castle's dungeon. Here, Sola had him use his moth poweder to disorientate each & every ghost long enough for one to make a getaway from them & ensure all made it out with their zenny & HP. He at one point developed a rivalry with DustMan.EXE since both navis have capacities for recycling. But it didn't last long as the two became pals overtime. Even then, MorphMoth.EXE is always ready to lend a hand when needed to do so. Unlike the original Morph Moth, MorphMoth.EXE is a hard worker & puts effort into whatever it is he is doing, whether it's helping Sola with homework, or busting viruses. While sociable, he has a rather sharp tongue, so one needs to be weary of how to speak with him. He enjoys seeing efforts of recycling, but spiders are no friend of his. Produces the most brilliant powders.
Abilities: MorphMoth.EXE is a Wood-Type NetNavi, meaning he has an advantage over Electric enemies, but is weak to Fire. Unlike his partner CommanderYammark.EXE, who is also operated by Sola, MorphMoth.EXE has a gimmicky styled way of fighting & many of his attacks all revolve around making use of the environment around him and as such, can be very much unpredictable for those fighting him the first time around. MorphMoth.EXE typically starts his battles in his true moth form, but can transform into a cocoon if his energy is low in order to replenish his health. This is essentially a reverse operation of how his original counterpart starts his battles as he's in bagworm form first, and then transforms after a while. He has some very sticky silk and it can slow down targets greatly & eventually cocoon them to prevent them from moving at all. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
Air Shoes: MorphMoth.EXE is always flying & can stand over holes.
Float Shoes: MorphMoth.EXE is unaffected by the effects of negative panels. He will however, still regenerate HP if he's floating over a grass panel.
Silk Shot: MorphMoth.EXE's basic attack. He fires a ball of silk down the row he is facing. Opponents struck will slow down greatly. The effect can lead to cocooning if 5 shots are allowed to connect, and the cocooned target will take double damage from Fire-Type attacks, too. This is a Wood-Type attack, but standing on certain panels can add another element, or attribute to the mix. For instance, standing over an ice panel will produce a Wood/Aqua Type shot, and metal will give the attack breaking properties.
Silk Beast: MorphMoth.EXE's charge attack. After reaching max charge level, MorphMoth.EXE gathers a bunch of silk, and when fired, launches it 3 or 4 squares ahead. The beast will instantly damage & entrap anyone it hits in sticky silk. If it hits a panel, or deletes a target, it instead sends the silk across different panels & then traps anyone they hit in silk without damaging them. Wood-Type.
Scrap Beast: A variant of Silk Beast. At any point there are special tiles or obstacles on the field, MorphMoth.EXE will take elements from either one & add them to his attack for increased damage, and additional effects. Rock Cubes for instance, will provide Breaking Attribute in addition to being a Wood-Type attack.
Phosphorescent Powder: MorphMoth.EXE flies over the battlefield, spreading a glittering powder across the field. The powder doesn't deal much damage, but it is capable of nullifying the immunities granted by shadow form, and invisibility to make up for it greatly. Wood-Type.
Intimidating Eye: MorphMoth.EXE turns his back & puts his wings together to form a large eye that stares down the row he is on. If an enemy looks at it for 3 seconds or more, the eye will flash & leave the opponent in the anxious emotion state for 3 turns. Anxiousness inflicted this way can be cured faster by landing counter hits.
Proboscis Whip: MorphMoth.EXE launches his proboscis at the opponent 3 squares closest to him. If it hits, he'll drain HP from the target. Wood-Type.
Rainbow Beam: MorphMoth.EXE fires a rainbow laser down the row he is facing. Sometimes he'll instead fly above a targeted column & fire it down that. No Element.
Bagworm Regression: At any point MorphMoth.EXE has only 25% of his HP or lower remaining, he'll curl up & assume his bagworm form. In this form, he's a much smaller target & can disappear upward to avoid getting hit. His HP will also regenerate in this form.
Silk Scatter: MorphMoth.EXE will occasionally swing about & throw about pieces of silk onto random enemy tiles. Wood-Type.
Dash-Silk Scatter: MorphMoth.EXE will break off his silken line & dash about in the enemy's field, throwing silk onto random spaces. If he breaks an obstacle or runs over a special panel, he will incorperate them into his attack for different effects. The dash itself is always break attributed.
Scrap Absorption: After dashing about, MorphMoth.EXE returns to his side of the field & starts absorbing pieces of scrap from all across the battlefield, damaging anyone that gets hit by the scrap racing to MorphMoth.EXE as he uses it to rapidly restore his HP. 3 uses of this move, or simply triggering it on a grass panel, will trigger another move.
Metamorphosis: After 3 uses of Scrap Absorption, or by using the move while above or on a grass panel, MorphMoth.EXE will disappear upwards offscreen, then the bagworm will be split in half. MorphMoth.EXE will then come back down back in his moth form & resume using his normal move set once more.
Silken Spinout: MorphMoth.EXE's ultimate attack. He first throws out an airspin disc down the row he is facing. The disc will then unleash a rapid attack on all panels in its range. Enemies hit by the gust will be wrapped in sticky silk until cocooned. If even one foe is cocooned, MorphMoth.EXE will finish the attack by blasting the target(s) with a rainbow beam that spreads out in a fashion. Wood-Type.
