Alex was washing the dishes when he heard a knock on the door. "Now who can that be?" He washed his hands and opened the front door." He didn't see anyone. "Must be pranksters." Alex muttered to himself.
"Ahem, I'm down here." said a woman's voice. Alex looked down and saw a purple cat with blonde hair on his front porch.
"Oh, it's not every day you see a talking cat." Alex said.
"We can talk, but only when we want people to hear us." she said. "Can I come in? I have important matters to discuss."
"Sure." Alex allowed the feline to enter the house.
The cat looked around her and said, "Let's talk in the living room." Alex followed her in.
"Want anything to eat?" Alex said.
"No, thanks, I had some tuna for lunch." the cat said. "Let's get down to business. My name is Delilah Barnsley and I run fashion shows. My top model has come down with a cold and I'm afraid she is in no position to model."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Alex said.
"Yes, so I've been looking for a good replacement and you are my choice. I have two other models, a panda bear named Penny Ling and a dog named Zoey Trent." Delilah said. "Do you accept taking the job until my top model feels better?"
"Yes, I would." Alex said.
"Alright then." Delilah said. "Just a second, I need to go outside to get something. She ran outside and came back fifteen seconds later with a paper cup and a plastic lid. "Just drink this tea and we will head on over to the Littlest Pet Shop." Alex drank the tea. It tasted like Darjeeling tea. Alex felt himself getting shorter. His ears became pointy and migrated to the top of his head. Next a cat tail ripped out of his shorts. Purple fur covered his entire body. His hands and feet were next. His thumbs vanished and his fingers shrank. His fingernails became retractable claws. He continued to shrink, and whiskers grew from his face. His mouth became a muzzle and his eyes turned pink. His masculinity became femineity. She gotten so short all her clothes fell off. Her feet lost their big toes and her toenails were also retractable. Alex felt her spine arch and now she was on all fours. A pearl collar with a pentagon-shaped ruby in the middle materialized around her neck.
"Wow, I look almost like you." Alex said once the transformation was over.
"Yes, you turned out better than I thought." Delilah said. "Now follow me." The two felines left the house and scampered off to the Littlest Pet Shop. After they walked through the doggie door, Delilah called out, "Ms. Trent. Ms. Ling. I found a good replacement, so the style review is still on. Zoey, a purple dog with a black hat, and Penny Ling, a pretty purple panda bear, walked over to the two.
"Nice to meet you." Penny Ling smiled.
"Hello, there!" Zoey greeted.
"Yes, this is Alex, and she will be accompanying you as a model for the style review." Delilah said.
"What's the theme?" Alex asked.
"Springtime." Delilah replied. I got all the clothes you'll be wearing in the back of the shop. I've set up the runway so "I'll be gathering the audience." Delilah said. "You better get ready in your first outfits. The show will begin in fifteen minutes."

Many different kinds of pets from dogs to parrots were all standing outside in the back of the building. The runway was lit by a spotlight (which was facing the red curtains of the stage). Delilah appeared from the curtains and the pets cheered. "Welcome to this season's style review for springtime fashion. Let's begin!" Zoey stepped out in a pastel blue dress and white cap. "First we have Zoey dressed in a white cap and patel blue dress. Notice how the dress is long enough to be fashionable but not too long to prevent the outfit from dragging on the floor." Zoey did a few poses and returned for Penny Ling to appear. She was wearing a kimono and was carrying a Chinese umbrella with her. The print on the kimono was a cherry tree with pink flower blossoms. "Penny Ling is dressed in a spring-themed kimono and carrying a matching pink umbrella with her. Notice the cherry tree blossom design on her outfit." Penny blushed and posed before returning to the curtains where Alex awaited her turn.
"Good luck." Penny whispered to Alex.
"Thank you." She replied.
Alex stepped from the curtains. "Here's our newest model, Alex! She is wearing a yellow blouse and denim pink mini skirt. A personal favorite outfit of mine." Delilah said. The pets snapped many pictures as Alex, Zoey, and Penny tried on various dresses, skirts, shirts, and shorts all in pastel colors to match the colors of spring.

Once the style review was over, all the visiting pets went back to their homes. Delilah shook Alex's paw. "Thank you, Alex, you really saved the fashion review."
Alex blushed, "Aww, it was nothing really. Feel free to contact me whenever you need my help again."
"I'll let you know in a couple weeks." Delilah said. "The next fashion review's theme is vacation in France. If my model is not able to perform, then you can step in again." Delilah smiled.
