.Sebastian had scooped up his girlfriend and looked her over. What had started as a relatively benign looking lump on the bottom of Sandra’s belly had grown over the weeks to encompass her midsection in its entirety.

"You weren't kidding," Sebastian slightly prod the little mouse's relatively large belly, somehow still having a bit of give. "I didn't think you'd grow this fast."

"I-I know..." Sandra said with a worried tone. "I look like I am ready to have a kid but..."

"We barely started the second month..." Sebastian added, his own worry starting to grow.

"... S-sebastian? I am ashamed to ask, but what do you think? How big does it look now?"

"Well..." Sebastian thought "I think around the size of a plum give or take."

Sandra gulps, she already accepted the fact that they were compatible, but learning how much their first born takes after their father frightens her. They only hope she will actually last the whole pregnancy.

Maternity is officially upon us one again, and why not start it off right with a pair we haven't seen in awhile, courtesy of a lovely gift from  Derrysome All credit to him, he made the piece as well as the accompanying snippet (I added a few blemishes). So here we have the couple early into their unusual pregnancy, realizing that between a normal sized cheetah, and a small mouse, the former seems to have won out the genetic dominance for their cub's physical attributes if her rate of growth is anything to go by. I'm sure they'll be fine.
