I wanted to continue with the water theme, and what better way to do so than revitalise a forgotten yet beautiful Water/Flying type from Gen 2 -- the Kyte Pokémon, Mantine!

From the start I knew that the two antenna would be a very easy yet fun part to draw, due to them being so symmetrical. I have seen some Water/Electric type Mantine fan art somewhere on the internet, often giving it a rock guitar look. Even though I think the type combination of Electric and Water is really cool... an electric guitar? Really? I think we can do something more... believable, for lack of a better word.

So this is the result. I did have a bit of trouble drawing its ~eyes~ of all things in a symmetrical way, strangely enough. But the rest went pretty smooth. I also added a little symmetrical back pattern, which doubles as a symbol for indicating anger, namely the ''💢'' symbol, but with some added yellow to further indicate the Electric typing. I don't think this concept is particularly difficult to replicate, GameFreak. This would be such a cool concept for a new variant! And it would simultaneously bring an old Johtonian favorite back!
