Albeit very small and insignificant, there is indeed a spot in my vision now. I would mention how this brings me a great deal of stress and a reminder to the mortality of our lives, however I don't want to be a debby downer. Instead, I'll point out how one of my friends said I basically have an IRL reticle in my vision, as that's a very funny and destressing way to think about it. :3c
But yes, one of the most important things to me - my vision - is apparently starting to have cracks show... Gotta take care of my body a bit more. ^^"
I won't lie, it's quite a stressful feeling to be constantly reminded I'm getting older. When I'm trying to read far away smaller text, and randomly a weird empty spot in my vision blocks a letter, I get a little frustrated. It's not bad, and it's not really hindering me in any way, but gosh is it kinda annoying and scary... x3

I know the feeling, last month I went to the doctor for an aching in my back and they essentially told me "It's normal for this kind of thing to happen as you get older."
It's worrying, because.... at what point am I just going to have to accept not being comfortable in my own body?

That's a tough question! The way I see it, my body is going to go through some challenges as I get older, and either I attempt to resist against those changes, or I learn to accept them and work with them. One option offers quite a bit of stress and frustration with my body not working the way I want it to, and the other offers some sort of peace with myself.
I know there are cases where people aren't comfortable with their bodies and they want them to be a certain way, but I just tend to look at my body as the "Roll I've received at the beginning of my life", and I need to work with it and keep it healthy. uwu
I know it's not as easy for others to accept it like that - but that's their journeys. u.u

I get those often.. but they dont tend to bother me~ wear glasses though myself
It's not bothering me as much as before, but it still gets in the way sometimes x3
Yeah, they tend to be around when you have some vision problems it seems, I have had mine since I can remember, but usually only notice how many of them there are when I am really stressed out, so don't fret! It happens but it won't be much of a hassle with a good state of mind!
I've had perfect vision for ever actually! Never needed anything to help my eyes, and just one day this floater popped up - no idea why, but now I'm stuck with it x3
My floater is visible only in harsh lighting - anything with bright light has the ability to trigger it in my vision. That means I get the funny thing outside in sunlight. -w-
If you ask me, that's probably where it stemmed from... Since I'm always inside working on my computers in inside-lighting, I might have caused an issue when going into an environment with harsh lighting. That'll be for the opticians to tell me when I have the chance to schedule an appointment. :3c

I know that feeling, sadly my brain likes reminding me...all the time, that im getting older.
Lately though ive been able to cope with it better now, guess you just get used to the changes after a time.

I'm not even truly old yet. I just need to get a handle on being healthy before it's too late. uwu
I think change is nice. Physically, mentally, psychologically - I have a ton of fun feeling like a different person as I get older and change. I suppose I'll have my own optical challenges uwu

I hope you are able to get it checked by an optician.
I don't know how good American healthcare is for such things.

In my experience, it's been better than you think! The trick is that you actually need healthcare. Lucky for me, I have a full time job at a company that provides it, so I'm covered. :3c
I haven't visited the optician yet mainly since I hadn't had optical coverage, even though it's been there for a solid 6 months or so - It's grown to be apart of my life whenever something very bright is nearby. I just learned to look in a direction to move the floater out of my line of sight. =w=\
Annoying, and I'll still get it checked out, but not the worst thing that can happen to me! I should be happy it's not worse.

Hi, I really like this character of yours. May I ask, what species are they a hybrid of. I am pretty sure its a fox mixed with something else but i might be completely wrong.
Hey Vulpini :3c
My character Rori is a hybrid between a Fox and a Wolf! I designed them with the desire to make them look like whatever I pleased, so that might be why you can't catch a lot of fox/wolf-like attributes from them!
The neck/cheek fluff is wolf, the body is foxy, the big hind paws are wolf, the facial construction is fox, the muzzle is wolf, the teeth are wolf, and the ears are fox. The tail is a mixture of fox and other, where I just had a fun making the tail long and fluffy uwu
