Once again you feel the ache in your bones;
The urge to roam between the ancient oaks.
To be free of your office clothes,
And away from dull dial-up tones.
The primal call was maddening at first,
A flurry of scents and sounds, each more stunning than the last
But now you relish the thirst,
Greeting the wolf as a friend, allowing it to take hold
Running in the woods,
Barefoot to soft paw pad.
Running fast, running free.
Wild and instinctual.
