Just now realized I never uploaded the older images of Acai.
Woodrow Wheeler wasn’t much of a fan of sci-fi, preferring the concept of fantasy and swords & sorcery a lot more to high tech space travel and aliens. However, he found himself dragged along with some friends to a sci-fi convention, where he ended up randomly chosen to try an invention some scientist was toting as an amazing breakthrough.
The invention was a helmet that was supposed to allow someone the ability to see into the near future, allowing them to see just what their decision would lead to before doing so. However, as Woodrow tested the device, it began malfunctioning and flashing nothing but intense lights and patterns before his eyes. Quickly, he tossed the helmet off. Thankfully, it seemed that nothing happened... at least that he was aware of. In truth, the device had actually managed to shoot a copy of Woodrow’s consciousness and mind into the far future.
Dewford Diatonius, meanwhile, was a biochemist studying and experimenting with gummy and gel substances. Much to his surprise during one of his experiments, he witnessed his project actually come to life, gaining what he could tell was an odd level of sapience he would never have even anticipated. Dewford was quickly overcome by a mixture of intrigue, accomplishment, and a desire to comfort the creature who seemed confused and nervous. In the process, he decided to name it Acai, based on the fact that it tasted strongly of the berry.
Woodrow, now known as Acai, was confused and overwhelmed by everything around him. Though not into the idea of sci-fi, he was nonetheless full on floored by the advanced technology and society he found himself in. Despite wishing to, he couldn’t properly talk to Dewford and explain who he really was, and had to deal with the scientist deciding to treat him as his new ‘daughter’.
However, as ‘Acai’ grew, ‘she’ would discover that she had the ability to manipulate her own gummy substance, utilizing it in a variety of amazing ways from shifting her own body to creating different kinds of constructs. By absorbing various kinds of flavors and dyes, she could manipulate her own flavor, and even the flavor of the things she created.
Due to Acai’s love of fantasy and magic, she would give herself a mage-like look, finding the idea of a ‘mage in the future’ to be kinda amusing.

Hey it's true. You uploaded this story years ago on Deviantart.
Now that I think about it, Deviantart has several fan arts and stories that you haven't uploaded here. I know because I followed you on Deviantart and you were very active. But, since the change in the format of the page, unbearable and much less practical than before, I better go to Furafinitty, Pixiv and others.
I hope you upload your other works here in the future.

This is such a cool idea. I like how you've shown her growing up. :)
I wonder if Acai ever wanted to look up her history of her original time period when she grows up? Wouldn’t it be funny if she were to be relieved to have dodged a bullet about several pandemics, political conflicts, wars, and other terrible events that happened after her native time, am I right?
