It was a nice ride for John on his way to the lake. Wolfy had morphed into his spino form and let his little bro climb onto his neck, so they could travel to the lake without delay. Wolfy wanted to take John over to it for some swimming but was surprised to see some of their friends already hanging out at the shore. Neither of them minded though, as they never planned it to be a private event anyway, and the more the merrier. So as they approached, John waved to them and greeted them with, "Hey Doug, hey Josh, hey Mama." At that, they looked over to John"s voice, Doug lifting his head out from the water with a few fish in his maw, and they smiled as they saw their friends approach, Wolfy sitting down on the grass next to Doug. Doug then tipped his head up and used his tongue to push the fish in his maw toward the back of his throat before swallowing his meal with a sigh. "Hey John, hey Wolfy. Are you here for some fish?" Wolfy giggled at his question and looked down at the fish swimming by the dino. "Hehe, actually, we just wanted a swim, but..." He then arched his back and readied himself before lunging his head into the water and scooping up a few fish. He then tossed them in his maw for a second before tilting his head and letting them fall down his throat with a mighty gulp.
"I might as well have a tasty snack while I"m here, hehe." This made everyone giggle, and they heard something emerge from the water, and everyone looked within the lake and saw Floofs head pop out of the water, playfully spitting out a stream of water and giggling. "Hehehe. Oh, hey Wolfy. Come on in. The water"s great." Everyone giggled at the silly raptor, and Wolfy stepped back from the lake before jogging toward the lake, saying "CANNONBALL!!!" as he jumped into the water, landing right on a terrified Floof as they both sunk into the water, erupting a cascading wave that splashed over the others. After a moment of the others giggling and John ringing out his shirt, Wolfy and Floof popped out of the water, and they both spat a stream of water and laughed some more. Douglas then joined the pair in the water, and then Mama with Josh on her back, soaking John even more with the waves of water that came from the others jumping into the lake before giggling and jumping in himself.
They played together for a while, splashing water on each other and the spino"s giving a ride to the others whenever they needed a moment to rest. At one point, Wolfy giggled and swam to Doug to tell him his plan in secret, and they both grinned as they dove into the water, leaving only their fins visible above the water. They only poked them out when they got between the group, Wolfy facing Mama and Josh on one side and Doug facing Floof and John, saying in unison, "Swim little chickens. Swim." The others giggled before swimming in their pairs away from the "sharks" as they dove back below the surface, only showing their fins once again.
Mama and Josh were swimming away fast, Mama pretending to be scared of the shark, while the energetic Josh was giggling while swimming circles around Mama. Soon enough, the blue-hearted Spino caught up to them, and in one swift motion, he rose out of the water and scooped them up into his maw before sinking back into the water, enjoying his catch. Meanwhile, Douglas was having fun with his "chickens", who were hugging each other in the water as the shark circled them. John was unsure of what to do, but Floof decided to act and swam away as fast as he could. Douglas grinned beneath the waves and left John behind as he chased the fleeing skittle raptor. Doug got closer and closer, opening his maw wide, letting his speed slowly bring the still frantically swimming raptor into his maw before snapping down on top of him. Now only John remained above the water, and he feared what would happen. He knew they were just playing around, but the idea of him being snapped up suddenly still terrified him. Fortunately, Wolfy noticed and signaled Doug to take it slow for him. So he did, rising out of the water in front of the human slowly and steadily. John was still scared, but seeing Doug"s kind and concerned face made it easier for him to relax. Doug slowly opened his maw, showing Floof was safe and sound inside. John was relieved as he saw that he was fine, and when Doug flicked the tip of his tongue to point within, John accepted his invitation and, with Floofs helping hand, climbed into Doug"s warm maw. Doug enjoyed John"s taste as he entered his maw and slowly closed his maw over his smaller friends and descended back into the water. Doug swam down to the bottom, where Wolfy was already lying down, and they relaxed on the lake floor, purring as they enjoyed the taste of their "chickens". Mama and Josh were hugging underneath Wolfy"s tongue, while Floof and John were relaxing as Doug playfully pushed them into his cheeks as he tasted them.
Later in the day, everyone was relaxing on the shoreline, glad to have had the chance to relax at the lake. They had since used their magic to dry themselves off, and the humans and Floof rested with Mama while the Spino"s got a few more fish to eat. The two spinos loved how the fishes flopped in their maws and purred as they went down their throats. When Mama saw them gobble up their fish, an idea came to mind, and with a grin, she chuckled to herself and called out to them. "Hehe, boys, how about one last game?""
