And the only members of the group that survive long enough to do anything are Spike and Fluttershy - they have until the ubercharge runs out to break the line.
Speaking from experience, running into an entrenched demo/engi/sniper setup generally means a fast trip to the respawn point. Or several, depending on how well the defenders are set up.
