Author's note:
"I know it's been about a year since my last entry, and I can say that I have seen quite a few interesting things.
This will take some time, but I'm sure something decent might come from it. Anyway, here's something in the meantime" -R

Sketchbook Entry:
"... it's been some time since I last left the campsite when I heard a noise nearby. Hoping that it might be something of interest. I went and got my book and pencil and went to locate it. It's been about 10 minutes of hearing random sounds but not quite the one I heard earlier. So I went ahead and took a little break before preceding. As I went to find a nice place to sit down, I hear a rustling near me. I turned around and briefly saw a blur run by. After a few seconds, I then saw something quickly climb up the nearest tree. And there to my surprise was something unexpected.
At first, it looked like a normal squirrel trying to hide behind some branches and figured I might as well give it something. Grabbing a small bag of trail mix, I picked out something that it might like and waited for a bit. It then looked down and disappeared into the branches. After a moment or so, it then appeared near a pile of leaves, slowly moving closer to the mix I left on the ground. And without moving too much as to spook it, it was then I noticed it. This little animal wasn't like your typical squirrel as it had an additional set of limbs. Soon, it grabbed a seed and ran up the tree once more. It then appeared on a branch with its upper paws while its mid paws were holding on to a smaller branch. Knowing it wouldn't take long to finish the seed, I quickly did a sketch of it and by the time I was done, it was gone.
After that, I picked up my stuff and headed back to the campsite since following the unique squirrel took some time and I still never figured out what that sound was that was heard earlier. Maybe one day I might find out, but for now, it was getting dark."
