Where some girls were uptight or hard to approach, Zaryn always treated Renzey with a
kindness and respect that was hard to forget. She even complimented him on occasion
which for a guy was not something they always got to hear. It only encouraged him to try
and engage with her more frequently whenever he ran across her.

Slowly but surely something of a crush began to form and Renzey's courage to speak to her
grew over time. Secretly he hoped that she liked him and wasn't just putting on a nice face
for him like some girls tend to do. But when Valentines Day started to come around that year
Renzey got a sink or swim sensation that tightened in his chest when he thought about her.
