This is a birthday gift from my best friend of ten years, my daily companion, the person who knows me better than anyone else in this world....and this....is what she put together for my birthday this year. ;;

Oh...my gosh.

It's everything that makes me happy. The beautiful rocks that I collect. My ash and sand samples and crystals. The heart shaped rocks that hold so much history and meaning for me. My favorite kinds of flowers (Sunflowers and anything purple and blue). My favorite music...anything cosmic or space ambient. It's got my cute little fox and wolf plushies. The grey PNW weather and yet the sunsets i love so much poking through. My sweet loving kitty. The stars and galaxies and mountains that fill me with wonder. The volcanoes I love so much and study. And the fairy lights that I find so warm and happy. And on his computer, a special note, with a special meaning to both of us. And all of this comes together behind Blue, looking his most beautiful, his most content.

And and here in his happy place....my...happy place....I can tell you he's thinking of the person who made all of this. Because they're always on his mind.

I'm so deeply touched. I'm so incredibly moved. This is the best birthday gift ever, and it means so, so very much to me. He looks so beautiful. And so happy. And he always does, because when it comes to her, she always makes him look the warmest and most beautiful he's ever looked. ;;
