Faust hummed to the orchestra playing above her. Their symphony was loud and booming and she prepared herself for the stage. Rollers in her hair and preparing her makeup, she was almost ready. She placed a kiss on a picture of her and her beloved before reapplying the lipstick and finishing up. Putting on her performance clothing and taking out her hair rollers, she placed on her jewellery and shoes before making her way to the stage. The closed curtain shielded her from the view of the large audience and orchestra playing in front of the stage. As the music began to soften and come to a stop, the crowd emerged in applause. The audience became silent as the curtains drew open, revealing the stripped lady in the spotlight. Opera was Faust's talent on this stage. Her voice began to echo through the massive auditorium and bounced off the walls. The orchestra started their next song to match and compliment her sweet and powerful singing. Now was her time to shine.
