The story behind this minicomic goes back a while:
"Almost four years ago I started drawing anthro content.
Escofal_DRAWA_ , one of the artists I have always admired from the italian community, noticed me and gave me the opportunity to collab with him at a minicomic idea: I accepted, enthusiastic!
After receiving his part with Lievski beautifully drawn, I must be honest: that day I felt so overwhelmed that I didn’t have the courage to put my hand on his, having just started in the art sector. And time passed together the silence that accumulated.
Even if it was too late, this week I wanted to roll up my sleeves for this project, between the comms and the holiday period. And finally I finalized it!"
It’s ok to experience this kind of emotions through the artistic journey, especially when you participate in projects where the comparison with another artist is in the same place. But what really matters, and you learn it with time, is not about skills or what you feel about the other, but is what you can tell with your own trait and progress made in your own way.
And it is thanks to Escofal, who believed in me from the beginning, that I learned this lesson! 🤗✨
