A wonderful sketch page I got of Elvira from KhaoticVex, who not that long ago drew me some icons for me and my SO to use of our sona's that turned out wonderfully, so when they opened up for sketch pages, I knew I had to jump at the opportunity. Not only does Elvira look amazing in their style, they also just have such a lovely art style that it's hard to say no!
I've also wanted to get more sketch pages, so that's yet another good reason for this! That's now Celina, Phyress, Ashura and Elvira that's gotten one, who's gonna get the next one ? Who knows :3
As if there's any sort of pattern or logic to the distribution :'D
I love how much character this oozes though, and it's also showcasing some of the more rare aspects of Elvira, like her fire being blue when it's intended to harm, as opposed to the purple colour it'll normally have, really happy they decided to play around with that aspect, it turned out great! Of course, it still has the lil' butterfly coming out of it, can't stray from her general theme regardless of how much it's meant to chase away hostiles, gotta do it in style!
I do think though, that the tree perch pose is my absolute favourite. It's this mix of "I'm keeping my distance in safety up here" and intrigue as to what is going on down below, with the tail wrapped around the branch for extra support and grip, it's just a lovely pose! Not entirely sure what is being looked at though, could be some of those meanies that keep going around calling each other cutes and goods, and it's just safer up in the tree, where they can't throw such slander at me!
Either that or it's looking at the fire breathing pose, which is definitely intriguing!
Does beg the question, is it a big tree, or a really smol dragon ? WHO KNOWS, IT'S A MYSTERY
Can't forget the big ol' stretchy stretch pose either though! I love how even the wings are getting their stretch, gotta cover all your bases after waking up, make sure everything is working optimally before throwing flower crowns at people from above >:3
All in all, I adore this sketch page, there's just so much personality and character depicted here and it's amazing, super happy with how it turned out <3

Love these butterflies in the flames
It looks like a Fairy Fire spell from DnD though it is quite fitting to her as she is ACTUALLY a fairy-dragon
And no other than Khaotic could make such an adorable and lovely art for a gentle and cute being like her - she is truly magnificent here and even we have a delight to witness her stronger and more protective side
She is definitely a girl that can stand for herself

They're honestly one of my favorite parts of her design, so many lil' details that matches her butterfly theme :3
