Might makes right.
I've always despised the standard definition of that Maxim, and I've always preferred to skew it in such a way so that "might is used to make things right." It very much strips it of the intended meaning, but that would be fine with me.
The standard definition rests on such a tenuous and unwieldy set of suppositions. How does one to find strength, and what sets aside the strong as innately superior to the weak? Listening that especially relevant question when one considers how much random chance factors in to having strength, and how swiftly random chance can strip someone of their purported strength.

These are important questions for Dimitri too since he def believes all his strength came from having two arms. :P but for real he once had a skill he felt very confident in and was willing to do a lot of things guns blazing because of it. Now he dosnt have this confidence and he believes himself powerless.
