AH THE COLORS
Yeah, this was something I've had in the works for a few weeks, a week for planning and for drawing. I chose 30 random characters I know from all sorts of places, and drew them. Anyways, let's run down the list.
1. Teisel Bonne - Mega Man Legends
I know I had to do a Mega Man character, but with my friend getting me into the Legends 3 hype, I had to make it a Bonne. Teisel's probably my favorite for his personality and that hair.
2. Creeper - Minecraft
I feel like it was my most recent GMOD work (Democraft.fileextension) that inspired this. Anyway, I like how he/she/it? came out in my ssssssssstyle. *boom*
3. Coach Z - Homestar Runner
Pronounced with an 'oach Z! I've been a big fan of Homestar since 7th grade, and the Coach was always a hoot to watch.
4. Dog - Catdog
Ah, Catdog. Fond memories of back when Nickelodeon didn't suck. Catdog was a favorite of mine, though Cat and Dog were probably the only ones I gave a crap about. XD
5. Timmy Turner - The Fairly Oddparents
If there was one Nick show today I'd say I liked, it'd be FOP, probably because it's THE ONLY GOOD SHOW LEFT. Seriously, what ever happened to Doug, Rocko, and the others? Timmy seems to be the only one left of the 90s generation, well, of course with Spongebob, but I do NOT care for that yellow bastard.
6. G-Man - Half-Life 2
The "other final boss" of Half-Life and potential Garry's Mod star, I personally like making such a serious character look so hilariously insane in that game.
7. Seymour Van Bellsing - Nosfera (fancomic)
I recently got into BrokenTeapot's Nosfera comic, which is a parody on various vampire films and stories, but mostly Castlevania. Seymour is like a take on Simon Belmont, except ten times crazier.
8. Dramatic Prairie Dog
Ah, good ol' DPD. I wanted to toss him in there, just cause.
9. Solar Man - Mega Man 10.
Before Mega Man 10, I always thought of Crash Man and Tornado Man to be my favorite Robot Masters. Now, Solar Man's my favorite. :P
10. Charlie Chaplin (as the "Little Tramp")
To finish my high school career I decided to take History of American Film because the teacher is cool. Turns out he introduced us to some of the greatest silent movie stars ever. Thanks to my teacher, Chaplin's Modern Times is now one of my favorite movies!
11. Iggy - Nosfera (fancomic)
Like I said before, I've recently been into BT's Nosfera comic. Iggy...I just had to draw. He's like Kirby mixed with a Headcrab (referring to a scene where he jumped on Seymour's face to "give him a hug") and is all around cute.
12. Makoto Nanaya - BlazBlue: Continuum Shift
Makoto, Makoto, Makoto. After watching Teach Me Miss Litchi on YouTube you came off as such an innocent squirrel girl. Now you're a skimpy-outfitted, planet-crushing, underboob squirrel girl! Where did you go so RIGHT? I can't wait to get PSN and download you!
13. Mintberry Crunch - South Park
Also known as Bradley Biggle, who was a rather seen but not heard character until his role in the Coon and Friends saga as Mintberry Crunch. Why him, why not Mysterion, you may ask? Well, it's because he's that cool. Also he really has mint and berry powers. Shablagoo, motherfuckers.
14. Cat - Catdog
Not much to say, go see #4 for my Catdog talk. :P
15. Mordecai - Regular Show
Mordecai? On FA? Whoda thought?! No fr srs. Mordecai and Rigby have been all over FA recently, and I figured, why not draw him? I personally like him better cuz...well, he's avian! We have sooo much in common.
16. Bender - Futurama
Can't have Futurama without Fry, Leela, or Bender. Well...you can't have Futurama without anyone important. Yes, even Zoidberg. I for one like Bender the most...but then again, who doesn't?
17. Helen the Announcer - Team Fortress 2
Helen's someone I never draw. (I don't draw much TF2 art as it is) I really chose her to try drawing her, and hey. In my style she looks pretty good. :P
18. Pain (as the Female Pegasus) - Hercules
Okay, does anyone else remember that scene? Anyone except Authur? Well, it's when Pegasus is lead astray by Pain and Panic disguised as a rather sultry pink horse. When they're all alone, the horse splits in half, scares Pegasus shitless, and then turns into Pain and Panic. Honestly, I don't care if you don't know that scene, I like the horse. :P
19. Hazama - BlazBlue: Continuum Shift
He's probably a favorite of mine just for how much of a jackass he is. It makes him seem so cool. Generally, I hate trolls, but Hazama's an exception.
20. Sir Not Appearing In This Film - Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Not much to say. He didn't show.
21. Tycho - Penny Arcade
No, I don't read PA regularly, but I have seen Tycho in Poker Night; he's a pretty funny and assy guy when playing against those other dudes.
22. Technus - Danny Phantom
I personally liked DP as a young teen, it wasn't 90s Nick, but good enough to be it. I personally liked how in one episode they reference FOP with a Crash Nebula arcade machine, and when FOP did the Crash Nebula special, there was DP on the back of a comic book. :P Yay, crossovers! But anyway, Technus. He's voiced by Gottfried (I think). That's just awesome.
23. Todd Ingram - Scott Pilgrim
I saw the SP movie recently and wanted to draw Todd because he was easy to draw. I felt his battle was the most developed, and out of the 7 Evil Exes, he was probably the hardest. Face it, Patel was lame, Luke was too gullible, and most of the other battles seemed rushed. As for Todd, he seemed like the one guy Scott couldn't beat.
24. Arthur - Ghosts and Goblins
I mainly drew Arthur because I'm looking to play as him in MVC3. The fact I can beat up Hulk in my underwear as him is just cool, and for a game that involved you running around tossing lances, they REALLY developed Arthur's movepool.
25. Panic (as the Female Pegasus) - Hercules
Not much left to say that I didn't say on #18, but the fact Panic got lucky that he didn't have to be the ass. :P
26. Weird Al Yankovich
Possibly one of my favorite parody artists, Weird Al on my mind because I used Everything You Know is Wrong as a paper source for Theology. OF ALL CLASSES, THEOLOGY. Well, it has to do with heaven, so the song was sort of fitting.
27. Shuma Gorath - Marvel Premiere #5
When I saw this guy get confirmed for MVC3, I was a bit confused at how he'd fight. Then I saw he was in the predecessor, so I got to see his fight style. Well, I guess he's good enough to download. :P
28. Desmond the Moon Bear - asdfmovie2
How did he get here? We'll never know.
29. Amaterasu - Okami
Again with the MVC3 lineup! Actually, Ammy was one of the only characters I actually got to try in MVC3. She's fun to play, though one of her combos seems a bit broken. ^^;
30. Victor - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
I VAUGELY remember seeing Hunchback (I saw a bit of the 1920 version, pretty depressing) but I recently drew this guy with Zarel, and based on design I like him the most out of the three gargoyles. I need to watch that movie now.
